Interview with Locutus

I thought to do a light interview with Loco, nothing too serious, my first interview, just asked a couple of questions i wondered about myself. So see it as a practice run 🙂



Rex: Hey! Tell us something about your real life. How old is Locutus, where do you live, do you work or are you still studying?
Locutus: I´m 38 years old. I live in Sweden, just outside of Stockholm. I´m working as a co-ordinator (Sergeant) at a super max prison.

Rex: How did you start to play eR?
Loco: I got a tip from a friend, he said I should start playing this awsome game he´d found. That friend is well known in eSA, his name is Rico Suave.

Rex: Do you buy gold? And if yes how much?
Loco: I used to buy gold. Now I only buy when there´s a new upgrade that might benefit the DB.

Rex: eBrazil, how do you see the relations change in the next 2 months if at all?
Loco: Unfortunately I don´t see much of a change in that short time frame. I do however feel that we should start renegotiating the treaty.

Rex: You are known for not being a supporter of the eBR & eSA rental treaty, care to explain why not?
Loco: I have been playing this game for a long time now. Brazil have always bullied us. In my opinion they still do. What would happen if we told them that we no longer wish to rent out our regions? You think they would just leave? I believe we would be wiped off the map inside a week. No matter how you dress it up it´s oppression. I don´t like oppression, period! We need to hold all our original regions if we are to grow.

Rex: Why should citizens vote for Locutus in the coming election?
Loco: Because I represent change.

Rex: Having Grimstone run as your VP, some have mentioned that it is a surprise, should players be surprised?
Loco: Why is that a surprise? I know I have a hot temper and I don´t like Brazil and the treaty. Grim is a cool, level headed authority figure, he brings a ton of respect to the ticket, national and international. He´s also one of the leading persons behind the treaty, I need someone to step on my brakes if I go to fast. He´s also someone I see as a friend.

Rex: If Loco gets elected, will there be any major changes on the economic front?
Loco: The eVersion of left wing libertarianism is about distributing all surplus to our citizens. That means we have to have an income and government income means taxes. Taxes must not be high enough to deter people from operating in our country but they cannot be so low as to not generate a healthy income. A weekly citizen's salary if you will is one of those things that will attract immigrants.

Rex: A last word for your opposition?
Loco: We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.

Rex: And a final thought for your supporters?
Loco: Should we win, the party´s at Jizzies place. Rico promised to cook his special Jambalaya. BYOB! Now, let´s rock this boat!

Thanks to Locotus for taking the time to answer the questions, a risk if you allow a first timer to do an interview!!I found Loco a player with a passion for eSA, who clearly still enjoys the game after all this time.
