I'm here now

Day 1,937, 07:28 Published in Japan Finland by Ruben Lagus

I have finally been accepted as a citizen of eJapan. Here I will shortly introduce myself and tell some thought about my future eLife.

Some facts about my eLife

I was born in 10/2011 during the great baby boom in eFinland. After some months I started playing more actively and in the beginning I was known for my articles in my magazine "Laguksen laukaus" (Lash of Lagus). Media was the first aspect of the game I was interested in and I have always found writing articles fun.

After couple of months I felt that I had enough knowledge to be part of the Finnish government and applied for a position in the Ministry of Public Relations. After that my political career has been very successful and in the end I was even elected as President of Finland.

My position in the Finnish government:
Undersecretary for Ministry of Information 3/12
Minister of Information 4/12 & 6/12
MoFA 8/12
vCP & MoFA 11/12
CP 1/13
MoFA 2/13

Almost all of my eLife I have been a member of Kauppaliitto which is one of the top five parties in Finland. I did my part as a Party Leader serving three months in a row in the Summer of 2012. I have also been a member of the congress multiple times.

Why I left eFinland?

I have worked in Finnish politics and done more than my part for now. It's time to give other people more space. I also needed a break from eRepublik politics. I have been eFinland citizen all my eLife. I have always been curious about moving to some other country but I never had a good opportunity. Now the time was right.

eJapan seemed like a good option for me because it's totally different and far away. eJapan is a country I had no previous knowledge whatsoever. I also recently started to study Japanese which has made me curious about Japan in general. However, I have now learned that only a minority of eJapanese are actually Japanes in real life.

What will I do now?

As a part of the CS application process I was made to promise not to candidate for any elections in the first month of my stay. I have also sworn to stay in eJapan for thee months. So, I can't change my CS until 10.6.2013. In my opinion it's reasonable to demand this from a newcomer. I might even stay in Japan for good but obviously I will always stay loyal also for eFinland.

One thing everybody should know about me is I never accept PTO. During my month as a CP in Finland we had a big problem with Hungarian PTOers and I had to take serious action to prevent the PTO from advancing. I don't want to make anyone experience that. That's why I will always vote for indigenous people and for democracy. In the case of Japan this isn't that clear since many political characters in Japan are not real-life Japanese. I'm sure I can soon distinguish between "the good guys" and "the bad guys" though and vote for the best of eJapan.

In the next issues I will maybe give an info packet about Finland and Asgard because probably very few of you know anything about them. I hope I can soon also publish articles related to eJapan but it takes some time to get to that level. I'm also searching for a political party to join and any information about them would be helpful.
