Hungarian statement about Bulgaria / Magyar álláspont Bulgáriával kapcsolatban

Dear Bulgarians and Readers,
We would hereby wish to express our admiration towards the Bulgarian people and their Government, who are still standing their ground in a difficult situation.
After Turkey had left the gates of ONE they established connections with the EDEN alliance, giving a sign of their willingness to join them. At that point a national referendum was held in Bulgaria, which resulted in the announcement that Bulgaria does not wish to see Turkey in EDEN. In accordance with this they vetoed the reception of Turkey into the alliance.
It seems that EDEN is still more biased towards Turkey than Bulgaria. Nevertheless, Bulgarians are standing up for what they believe in. They are not afraid to even leave EDEN.
The way the Bulgarian people are standing up for their principles reminds us of the Bulgaria we once knew and with whom we were in a close friendship. Although this was only the first step, but definitely a huge one, towards us being able to cultivate our past relationship.

Kedves bolgárok és olvasók,
Ezúton szeretnénk kifejezni tiszteletünket a bolgár nép és a bolgár kormány felé, mivel nehéz döntést hozva továbbra is kiállnak magukért az EDEN szövetségben.
Amikor a törökök elhagyták a ONE kapuját, az EDEN szövetséggel vették fel a kapcsolatot, jelezve csatlakozási szándékukat. A bolgárok népszavazást tartottak, melynek eredménye az volt, hogy nem szeretnék a törököket az EDEN szövetségben látni. A törökök csatlakozását ennek megfelelően meg is vétózták a szövetségben.
Úgy néz ki az EDEN még mindig inkább a törököket pártolja, mintsem a bolgárokat. A bolgárok pedig kiállnak magukért, nem riadnak vissza még az EDEN elhagyásától sem.
A bolgárok kiállása elveik mellett eszünkbe juttatja azt a hajdan volt Bulgáriát, amellyel egykor jó barátságban voltunk. Bár ez még csak az első lépés volt, mégis óriási afelé, hogy hajdan volt kapcsolatunkat újra ápolhassuk!

Very well, thanks for the support Hungarian friends. By the way, I think we the Bulgarians like you, probably we have some same origins. In any case, we have very similar historical fates.

I would rather have an alliance with our old historical friends and foes - the hungarians and with the other bulgarians in FYROM than an alliance with Romania, Greece and Turkey.
