Why do people care what Hollywood stars have to say?

I'm sure 90 percent to 95 percent of them must have no real clue about politics, climate, or anything outside of Hollywood life...

There are only a few really smart Hollywood stars out there. But they are so few and far between as to be impossible to find and really listen to.

I've been seeing so many statements and commercials with stars talking about some issue. And it is usually some hyperliberal or hyperconservative agenda being shoved down my throat...

Don't get me wrong, I describe myself as social liberal (not a socialist), and a economic conservative. So I tend to fall somewhere pretty central in the "political compass".
But this tendency for Hollywood and the media to be extremely undigestible, it can be pretty angering.

I'm hoping for some super awesome famous person to come along and just take the Hollywood snobbery down a notch.

Hollywood and the media, you don't get my stamp of Gay-pproval™...

Today, I'd also like to talk about the forums that exist here on eRepublik for a moment...

Remember:
Trolls are abound in the forums.
Any productive conversation is usually destroyed by trolls.
Some awesome lulz can be had in the forums, but usually it is pretty lame trolling.
I make lulz in the forums, and I troll on occasion, but I also contribute to productive conversations.
If you are a noob, please ask questions about gameplay in the forums.
If you are a noob, don't feed the trolls.
If you are a noob, your opinions and rants will probably not be taken seriously.
The forums are a great resource for information, lulz and SERBIA IS KOSOVO...

Well, lads and lassies, it seems that the week has been slow...
But in this general lull in the action, one major thing to report.
It seems that Emerick has gone missing, although he still has high health, and might not begin to lose health for quite some time, depending on how much food is in his inventory.

The rumors are abound, and many say he is just taking a little break and lying low somewhere. Some also say he is in prison IRL. Some say he died IRL.

Whatever the rumors are, I will not put my opinion into the hat until more is known.
