Hey there eUSA

Well first things first, I am Middletopia, or Middleton if you prefer, And basically I am what you would call a eRepublik veteran, atleast... To an extent.

Before I get started writing this, let me inform you, this newspaper will just be a writing outlet for me. Literally anything can happen here. The purpose of this article is to give you all a background of who I am, what my purpose here is, and what I wanna do. I apologize in advance for any Noob writing antics, now lets get started. 😃

The very first time I played eRepublik was December of 2008, I had no idea what I was doing half the time, and I gave up around a month later as a result.

The second time was in 2013, when I got back into it with a couple of friends. We all wanted to be in politics, and we all wanted to be in the eUSA. The only problem with that was when we realized how overwhelming it was with so many people and so much competition, we felt like it would be hopeless. Many people still feel like that today.

My friends gave up, and left eRepublik as a result. I decided to continue on, but in a new and smaller country, so I chose eEstonia. I made my own political party, own unit, own everything, and to my surprise, it worked, atleast for awhile. I managed to land myself in congress, and served for the full month before being kicked out of eEstonia for not being an actual Estonian.

So much for being a good fun gaming environment huh?

I gave up after losing everything, and swore to never come back to this game, and boy was I wrong.

eRepublik has improved substantially since I last played and it shows. When the support for new players is through the roof and it shows. I now see what I wanted to see 2 years ago, and thats why I came back.

Now as for my goals and ambitions, I would just like to help eUSA in anyway possible, (even though I'm only level 21) I am completely on board with the Workers Party and hope to help them in any way possible. I hope that I can make somewhat of a difference in this community, and I think that's what every player deep down wants.
