The race for the Presidential seat in Norway and Romania was a very close one. In Romania there were three challengers separated only in the last minutes of the elections: [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/es/a] 81 votes, [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/es/a] 79 votes and [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/es/a] 76 votes.
Congratulations to all winners and remember that with the new war module coming soon, the responsibility is much higher for each Congressmen and country Presidents.

It will be the new Help Center of Erepublik where you will be able to find basic (for the moment) information concerning all the modules of the New World and also a [a url=http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/War_Tutorial]tutorial[/a] on the [a url=http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Military]war module[/a]. Each Citizen can contribute to this wiki by creating an account using the Username and email (private info) of his Erepublik Citizen.

A more efficient communication line between the community and our team will be possible from now on by using the new [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/es/a] . To report a bug, an abuse, a suggestion or a multi account issue, please feel free to contact us by providing the right subject for your message. This tool will be also used by the forum moderators after the implementation of the Forum Moderators module.
We will do our best to answer all messages within 48 hours and you will receive a response by e-mail.

Since yesterday it is possible to buy Erepublik Gold with real money. If you need Gold or you simply enjoy the Erepublik World, you can buy Erepublik Gold using a Credit Card or your PayPal account. There is a single package that you can purchase (20 gold for 10 Euro) and also a limit; you can't buy more than one package each 7 days. Honestly. We are talking 20 Gold/Week here, for 10 Euro. That\'s not going to affect the economy any more than people inviting hordes of people that will never play for more than a day or two.
This is a good way to earn money for the devs, and with the max limit on 20 Gold/Week it will take months to buy enough for a Q4-company.
As long as they don\'t remove invites so people without money also can get hold of gold it shouldn\'t be a problem at all.

Forconin i agree with you completely, the ratio of gold vs. euro is high enough that one buyer cant really affect the market in a drastic way. I see it as a more of a boost to starting players.

Admin: Is there any hope that \"dead\" members will not be counted anymore when deciding which five parties that can run for election? In Norway we have 2-3 old but completely inactive parties that supress new blood...
When one knows that only about 7% of all players in free web-based games purchase extras like weapons and upgrades, I cannot see that the Erepublik team will make alot of money on selling gold.
The team needs of course to create a cashflow, but I believe that ads will give a better way of making money.

I also don\'t see what all the fuss was about buying gold. it\'s a good way to test the \'buying\' system without causing any major disruption to the economy.

At least good to see that the gold for real money option won\'t destroy the economy, though my stand still is that it\'s a bad idea. Anyway, would there be possible for the admins to make a donate option aswell? Honestly, I want to contribute to the game but I don\'t want to support the gold for real money thing.
Also I have to give my support to Vestlandsmannen. In Norway we had a huge problem the last general election because of the five party rule, where young, active parties were pushed out of the election in favour of old, inactive ones.

Well, the one bit I like about having purchasable GOLD right now is that we\'ll have the chance to see if it can actually work out reasonably or not. Just have to watch for its effects over the course of this month or so.
I\'m not sure about this new contact form. Most sites I see that use such things end up sending useless automated messages to everyone, with just the occassional real message to certain preferential people.

Although I have been one major contestant of the Gold for Real Money thing (and I\'d like to think that I have somewhat contributed to the format offered), I see that the form for the beta version could hardly have been fairer and better.
The most interesting part of the article is the one on communities, because this is what makes MMOGs really well-established. Having users meetings and a wiki for a game still in beta is a very nice step forward, hopefully there is a nice road ahead of the team behind this site.

Somebody is very possible to have not access to a credit card or be not agree with this.
They have tried to make sure that it doesnt effect the economy (expensive gold and limited per week). Also with PayPal you dont need a credit card.
This also stops people from selling gold for real money on other websites.

@Kaleb: I think that Preg meant for already-established regions within a certain country to break free of that country. However, I think the Fight for Freedom module will involve conquered countries to rebel against their new country.
Also, admins, we need an explanation of what the Fight for Freedom module entails.
