Farewell.

Day 2,562, 17:10 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by NoTie112

Dear all,

I'm sure many of you noticed I became inactive. And I'm sure this will be my last visit. When you evade logging in and think about how many time you've wasted on this game it's time to quit.

Why? eRepublik is a dying fallacy. A ''real life simulator'' which garnered interest with the promise of ''improvements'' in the future. Improvements which never came, only focussed on commercializing the military module which 90% isn't interested in and made the modules which made eRepublik lose all it's attractiveness. eRepublik will never revive out of their comatose situation. Old players will leave and new players will not stay because the remaining old players are too overpowered and the modules they could possibly achieve something in are irrelevant. Actually, I don't want to spend any more words on that. It's a lost cause.

The only thing that kept me in game is the society of the eNetherlands. One which has increasingly become dull, both due to their citizens and the game itself. When an establishment is all that remains in a country, it's a lost cause as well. Personally, I've achieved nearly everything a citizen possibly could and I would strive to achieve even more if it served a purpose.

I will donate all my belongings to the eDutch Government. People I'd especially like to thank are: Garmr, Odan, Tim Veltkamp, Trannsvaal, Van Spijck, Gen. de La Rey, Weirdstuff, Lancer450, Cody Caine, MaartenW, Daniel Parker, ElGorro, Aries Prime, Weekstrom, Arcanic Mindje, WillemTheConqueror and obviously many many more which I have came into touch with in the last 4,5 years. These are just a few which popped into my head right now.

Goodbye.
