1.1 What is skill?
In eRepublik, skill is there for your production. Higher skill, higher is your production. There are 3 kind of skills:
manufacturing (gift, moving ticket, weapon, food)
land (diamonds, oil, iron, grain, wood)
construction (house, defense system, hospital)
Also, bigger skill brings you better salary.
1.2 Which skill shall I choose?
It's all your choice!!! You can take any you want and build it up. You can also build one skill, and then start with another one, without losing your first skill.
1.3 Is it smart to ignore other skills?
Well, it is. Because, as soon as you get higher one skill, the salary will be better. So, almost all players work only in one sector.
1.4 Which skill is best payed?
That's pretty much different in each country, and situation changes every day. In Czech Republik, for now it's best to work in manufacturing sector, but construction sector will be stronger each day. Its up to the luck.
1.5 Which benefits has my boss if I work each day?
Your boss can then count on you as permanent worker, and thereby he will give you a little better salary. He will also rise it up when you reach a new skill level. Talk to your boss often, because then you will give and become maximum from the situation.
2. Wellness
2.1 What is wellness?
Wellness is shown on left (blue guy filled with water with number under it). Wellness is the most important thing in eRepublik!!!
2.2 Why is wellness important?
Because your production is mostly defined by wellness, and then by skill. Skill 4 with wellness 30, produce less then skill 2 with 100 wellness. So, when you have wellness above 90, you can get higher salary then on market for your skill. Most company owners fires workers that have wellness under 80. So keep it high!
2.3 High quality food are expensive. How else can I rise up my wellness?
When you start, you get some money. Use it to buy Q2 or even Q3 food. After you get level 5, you can fight in war. The best way to rise your wellness is by a war (healing in hospital). When you have wellness under 40, you won't be able to fight (and use the hospital). The only way to raise your wellness then is by receiving gifts.
2.4 How to keep a high wellness?
War is the best way to do it. And its free! Fight each day 4 time and heal in hospital to get 50 wellness. If you have a good salary and a lot of gold, buy a house. It gives you each day some wellness (q1 gives you 1 wellness per day, q2 gives you 2 wellness, etc)
