"An ambassador is an official envoy, especially a highest ranking diplomat who represents a state and is usually accredited to another sovereign state, or to an international organization as the resident representative of their own government or sovereign or appointed for a special and often temporary diplomatic assignment.[1]" (Wikipedia)

So to be a good ambassador you have to possess certain skills, knowing a foreign language, being calm and polite, have a natural charisma. But that`s not all, an ambassador should be also a spy, to be a very good spy. Machiavelli wrote that to be a good diplomat, a person must have "little respect for good faith and be able, through cunning, create confusion in people's minds and ultimately to master those have made their loyalty foundation stone ", while John Hay, secretary of State of the early twentieth century, said that" there are three species when approaching seem remove hair that is removed when in fact is approaching: diplomats, women and crabs ".

But in this game it`s something different, it`is the ambassadors duty to contact and sustain contact between his and the country he is appointed, he should never expect people to come at him and ask questions, or give him information. It`s hard to be a spy, but you have to do this job to, and never forget that you are the link between your country and they're, so don't mess this up, don't get caught and especially don't insult anybody.

I managed some ambassador programs (15), and i can say that not all of my ambassadors were ready for this job, some of them will never be good at this. Just because they didn't have that natural flow of thoughts, and because they where lazy. But the people i've worked with now became MoFA, or important people in the government.
So being an ambassador is the first step of getting used to politics and making something for your country.

And it`s the duty of the head for the ambassador program not to let them get lazy or bored. When you do a ambassador program you should make contest or something to make them want to do their job.
Oh and in the end, i like to point out 2 rules of the ambassadors, what it`is discussed in the ambassador chat/message/mass etc. stay there, and never believe a rumor or somebody that you think he`s telling you everything with nothing in exchange.

I still thing that the Ambassador program has a chance in this game, and educate young ones about politics and the game... at least that's how i got started..
