Erepublik economy analysis
Manekemaan
Hey everybody, so this is my first article, thanks to MaryamQ i got motivated to write a little bit.
It is going to be shorted than i first wrote it because when i first wrote it, i clicked publish and I got redirected to the Erepubliks login page... funny 😒
So anyway I've been playing erepublik for quite some time now. Quite active here but i never venture to the forum (which lead to me being kicked out of BAF thanks a lot! 🙁
)
So last weekend i was studying and i really needed some distraction so i made this excel sheet for calculating how i should work out my land in here.
here is a link to it in google documents, i'll inform you more in here tough.
Your text to link here...
So what does it do?
Firstly I made some sort of macro in which you put, the amount of factories you own, the amount of employees, there wages, the raw material price and the marketprice of the finished product (these are all implemented but might change in time) and the country productivity bonus.
Here is my personal food and weapon factory:
So as you can see, my one employe generates 15 bef a day for me (bloody belguim high wages😛
) but when he would be working in a Q5 fatory he would generate a lot more income!
Now secondly, fields:
Here you can see what fields do,how much they produce and how long they take to become profitable. (this includes the price of land; 1000 bef. For q3 and q5 fields it is calculated with the current gold-bef ratio.)
Last but not least is a summary, your total daily income and PADAM! the income you yourself produce when working in all of your fields and factories!!! (including food for healing costs 😃
)
So sorry that i wrote this so shortly but i'm kinda pissed of that i had to wrote it twice... lol its like Erepublik didnt want me to write it...
In anyway what i will repeat is my conclusion and my own economic plan. Feel free to comment on it:
Conclusion
Q3 and Q5 fields arent worth the gold in belguim, take about 3x longer to be profitable.
Q5 food fields are the only real profitable fields when used with employees
You need atleast Q3 factories to hire employees in belguim (except when u find an other way to pay them)
My personall plan:
Use my bef to buy Q4 fields
Use my gold to upgrade my companies
When i have enough fields i will use my bef to buy gold to upgrade my companies.
I thank you all for reading and I hope it was informative to you all.
ps: i copied it this time before pressing publish

Congratulations on a very nice first article!
Voted and subbed, nice article Manekemaan, adapted to the belgian economic reality !
Nice work !
As small remarks:
- lol is not a number
- Don't forget taxes for finished products
- If you need some information about Q6 production companies feel free to ask
haha nice nohijs 😃 i placed lol there to see if anyone would notice this.
Ah yes, i didnt implement Q6 yet because i dont have any, and they are still way out of my league... if people start using this ill add them.
What taxes are there on finished products? didnt know there were 😳
nohijs, i adjusted it and added Q6 food and weapons, wasnt a lot of work 😁
Very nice article. Unfortunately, there is no entry of own numbers possible. Would be nice if you could make this sheet work for the eBelgian community. Where everyone could put in his own digits.
thats the problem, i can make it fully editable by everyone, but then when anyone changes something, it changes for everyone...
i'l make it editable for now... but i was hoping that you guys would be able to download it or something...
i made it so that everyone can edit it, but remember all you edit is saved in the original document. You can also just download it as an excel file to your own pc and work with it like that.
nice article!
and you can always join baf again!
very nice!

No sorry can't help it. I can't find any other way.
good article, As for the taxes. Blame Jofroi for that. He reasons that only Q5 and Q6 owners should be allowed to have employees to maximize our economy.
Personally I'd prefer 100 BEF wages so everyone can make a profit (even Q5 WRM/FRM owners), but we have a few ppl in eBelgium who like to screw the little guys over by thinking they can monopolize the job market
groumphissisme 😛 i mean like giving them a part of the finished goods they produce 😛
tecuvo, i'm not active on the forums, that was a minimum requirement. Did they drop that?
shadowukcs, i apreciate you posting here but i know to few of the politics in belguim to have any meanigfull reaction to you...
Voted and subbed, very useful!
taxes on finished products are currently at 4% of the set price. There are no taxes on raw materials. 🙂
Nice job! I like the article. Better then my first article.
thanks mudduck95 and Aldous Zamiatin.
Nohjis, so these taxes go of your sale price? so if you sell something for 100 bef you only get 96 bef?
