This is an article regarding Absent investors.
I have been sending out dividends to all players every 2 weeks and some players have become in active and I receive my dividends back.
I want to know what I should do coming form my investors so its fair.
what should I do??
Options...
1. I delete all information and keep the money and dividends will increase for investors
2. I store their information in another sub-sheet on Google excel and don't send them dividends and just wait for them to become active again. which will cause investors dividends to increase.
3. keep sending them dividends hoping they get back on

just post a number from above unless its number 4 then state your opinion you may also change your mind I will take the most recent comment as your official answer. also the ones that are inactive are people who have been inactive for 1+ months so were basing this off of 1+ months so you know.
also I have nothing better to do tonight so I will post and article with graphs. but before I do does anybody care what kind it is or what you want to see like what type of graph (line, Bar, pie chart) also if you desire a specific report to be posted profit, combined reports (profit Expenses, others), just expenses/income increase just tell me what you guys want and I will post them tonight

I'd say keep sending the dividends. It's the most above board way to go, and removes the blame from you.

Keep sending the dividends but message the inactive players every time you send the dividends but if they don't reply after 3 or 4 times you send the dividends then either remove them or keep their info in GE.

4. Use option 2 to make sure what is owed is kept track of against their eventual return. Message them whenever dividends should be paid out. Keep their investment working to increase dividends to other investors.
do like they do in real life, if an account becomes inactive, i guess it varies by state what inactive is, the account is closed and the value of the account is sent to the government, then the person is required to seek their funds from the government if they are interested in getting those funds back. 🙂
i would say the death rate of most players is rather high, soon 90% of your pay outs will be to inactive players and that would be time consumming! sending them money only to have it returned is a waste of time! i would give them one chance. if they become inactive. close thier accounts keep track of their last cash value stop its growth and if they ever request that money give it back to them.
and use that cash to help get better returns for the other investors build a new factory 🙂 but keep some handy just incase the player is a seasonal player 🙂

if they are inactive for a month I would say theres a good chance they are dead. however I think maybe you should try contacting the by messaging and then send the money when they respond. but hold onto it and have it recorded until then. but after like 3 months if they haven't then delete the accounts and make the shares available for sale. and maybe an idea would be to from now on everyone who buys stock should receive a notice that if they don't respond within a month or whatever time frame they will lose their account unless they tell you before hand that they will be busy for awhile or something in RL.
as for the next article I think include as much as you can maybe a line graph that shows data since the beginning on the value of all the assets and for the income and total net worth and stuff. I don't know what kind of records you have but anything that is of use. and maybe some future projections on where you see the company going and backed by statistical evidence if there is any. idk graphs are nice to look at though. also maybe just a number count of all companies you own and such. good work so far!
