Economics – 101
Loouman
Hello Ireland,
For those of you who don’t know me id like to introduce myself I am Loouman. I’ve been in Ireland now for I think about 3yrs. I am not very social, im not at all military inclined (which now that I am MOF I need to fix that, I have to fully understand all the mechanics of the Job. ) I am political only to the point of blocking and or supporting various political parties. I am not trying to be a celebrity so don’t try an make me one.
I believe in playing strategy games with honor, that means absolutely no cheating of any kind, I personally have never stolen anything from anyone or tricked anyone who was naive. I believe in aggressively outplaying the next person. To give you a further insight of what I consider cheating, as a personal opinion, I think buying Gold from admin is a form of cheating.
As Minister of Finance I will start by saying, Do not expect me to ever divulge the totals of our treasury in a public report. This is for the security of our Country, it’s a tradition that has kept our money safe. I want the citizens of Ireland know that the money is safe an I am trying to manage it the best that I can.
Now onto more important things…..
I have been on ministry of finance for over 2 years but primarily as a monetary trader. My first month was about trying to understand the complete new position and to determine what is secure an what is not, who needed what an how much. I kindly just gave out what was requested last month, but as I completely understand our financial situation I may need to say NO or work on a solution to an expense.
The Market is dead, we need to stimulate our economy to produce more tax revenue, we cannot sustain our current model. I will do what I can but I cannot stimulate an economy by myself, I ask all irish citizens to consider supporting your local economy even if it’s a few pennies more, better yet undercut that person selling, economy will only get stimulated when there is competition. I trade monetary, but when nothing is moving there is no reason to trade, come on folks lets get our economy moving.
I will produce a statement of expenses etc, as soon as I can but it is not my top priority, my top priority is for the country to stop losing money.
I do not go around reading all the letters an or comments, so if you need to say something to me I would suggest pm’ing me.
Im a numbers guys so you guys have fun poking at the lack of pictures an proper grammer.
Your humble public servant
Loouman

Your doing just fine, forget about the trolls (i know they are hard to ignore), everyone knows you've the country's interest at heart.
Here here!
As Minister of Finance I will start by saying, Do not expect me to ever divulge the totals of our treasury in a public report.
You shouldnt say as you should say If because thats an if then else construct like
If Loumann = MOF then
totals = never divulged
else
totals = divulged
end if
Kordak so now that we understand the problem its very easy. You just make the first statement negative
therefore loumann != mof and we will get totals.
its not trolling asking for full financial reports. its like any bank i dont know how much money is in the safe but I know there is money in the safe so therefore i will still try and steal it.
argument debunked in 1 line.
let me just continue on this line you call yourself in the bottom line :your humble public servant. thats only part you got correct not that i didnt agree with some things i already said also in my campaign articles BUT YOUR CORRECT servant meaning if the CP like Kordak proposed "transparency: its not your choice whether you will comply or not. tbh your excuses is wearing thin. you can only decide whether there is full financial reports if and only if your CP. I also know you have the funds in your account if you refuse to comply I one of the "cheaters" as you call it will personally advice Kordak to take up this with the admins and you will be perma banned as you have no right to that money end of story.
^The amount of misconceptions about game mechanics, rules, and even the sentiment of this community is comical.
if left mof the admins was quite willing to hand over to me full account content of appleman, bhane and nogin the nog if they were found with state monies the same will apply loumann. but we all know most has already been stolen.
Best of luck, you got big shoes to fill.
they must be as they fulfill a double function
somewhere out of the crap they spew out must be retained?
good luck, it isn't a easy job, but it isn't impossible to deal with
The silent guardians of our treasury have Ireland's confidence and trust, Loouman. A problem has occurred if politics ever hinder your activities or jeopardize our security, but a few loud voices recently are just hot-wind born from malice-driven politicians. Our community is wiser than to warrant you worrying about it 😛

Politics are always jeopardizing our security and hindering the MoF's activities.
It's a very different game where loo is sitting.
Good man!

7000 golds irish people won on weekly tournament was and is a public knowledge.
And 7000 golds went missing soon after.
Current mof claim our money is safe...and that statement can only be made if former mof gave full report to a new one.
If appleman did not explain destiny of missing 7000 golds then our money is not safe.
So please mr mof....where are 7000 golds?
I fully trust very few of the MoF we have had.
Loouman is one I fully trust. If he had all, every last cent, in his personal account then I would fully trust it will be there for eIreland's use when required.
There are very few players here I could say that about.
based on what?
personal inaction over all the time we eKnow each other.
Opinion therefore. you are entitled to your opinion just do not be too positive in it as it can seem like you state that as a fact which it aint.
It is a FACT that I trust loouman. I stated no other facts
Here is how my former gov in eBulgaria worke😛
We had income of around 1 million per month and we constructed a budget. We showed how much money are in the treasury and the national orgs to the citizens before the mandate. Then we built up a budget with the money we wanted to use:
220k for MPP's
50k for MoY
300k for MoD
200k for AS
The rest was kept in the national orgs, at the end of the term we showed how much money we've saved, won or lost.
Very simple 😛
Very simple indeed.
However Bulgaria is different to Ireland. Bulgaria can repair a treasury within a month with that revenue. Ireland would take several months. We need to stockpile our money for battles etc, our nations wealth is the real warrior of Ireland.
At our current rate of tax revenue, if we saved every penny, it would take eIreland longer to recover it's treasury than erep has existed thus far...
Srsly, don't mess with our Bank
I am just saying how we've done our budget. This can be done here as well just with different numbers.
I am not sure how much money is Ireland getting per month though, but I know that we have at least 5-6 MPP's which is 60k
The rest might be organized in different roads 😁
The tax budget is really easy for anyone to work out:
The daily tax chart stays in a pretty stable range 90% of the time.
Anyone can work out how many MPP's the treasury can afford and what the tax surplus/deficit would be. It's a common topic in Congress threads.
what bank? your stating unknown facts. we cannot empirically state we have a bank which is the treasury i of course refer to
or would be if we actually had money and everything was not stolen. remember an slaugh our treasury is hidden you cannot state any fact based on it. All is allegation and speculation!
veskop ireland is the twilight zone of finances with all of the money in a players own account they cannot tell us how much there is just in case someone hacked his account and stole all the money and got perma banned and the money returned.
dumb is dumb and even if we have no money there is lots of stupid arguments floating around explaining their totally daft viewpoints
A rock of sense. o7
Sounds like our money is in good hands. Thanks Loouman.
