Dublin Daily - No.2 - Day 3,115

The Presidency elections are around the corner, some parties have already decided on their candidates, while some are still negotiating on who should represent them on the oncoming elections.
To give you and inside on all the opinions of the different parties I've contacted the Party Presidents and had a short interview with them.

The first to answer was the President of Eire Aonair, Trito Fisher, who told us that their candidate for the elections in June will be Sluagh.
According to him:

"Sluagh is the best choice for eIreland, as he has proved in his past two terms. I have been proud to be a part of his team, and you can easily see what we have accomplished. The MoC and MoE are active, we've joined a powerful alliance, and in the Resource Wars Event, we've gotten rare and very rare resources!"

Machiavelli the president of Omega Eireann told us that they will also support Sluagh for reasons that are almost the same as those that Trito mentioned.

On the other hand Winston Hope Smith, president of the Independent Labour Party told us that the second most powerful party of eIreland doesn't have a candidate right now, and most probably won't have because of the following reason:

"The current Junta have said they will pay no attention to the CP elections and will hold all power indefinitely and will maintain this with foreign money if needs be."

But, he added that if they decide to have a candidate they'll inform the people of eIreland trough their official newspaper.

After which he recalled the following:

"We had an active and decision making congress
We had an elected CP with powers
We had a democratic dictator whose powers were limited to effect the above
We had a constitution to make all the above work
We now have a dictator no one asked for elected or even knew whould be given the job.
We have stagnation execpt for a junta who are having fun on the proceeds of the state."

The other two parties didn't want to give an interview for our newspaper, so I'll just jump to the interview with the candidate, Sluagh.

This was his answer on the question: What do you plan on doing if elected?

"My plans for next month will be to reignite the flame within our community, maintain acitivity levels on IRC as well as restore the Irish Army into an active military hub.

Basically stabilize the nation following this event which has had a turbulent effect on the community."

Our newspaper also engaged in a field study, to estimated the results of the elections, what we found out is displayed on the following graph:
