DRP Congress - Vote Dutch People's Party

Dear friends,

Today I want to discuss the Dutch Revolutionary Party and our plans for the congressional elections that are taking place in just a few days! Let’s get started.

Congress Elections – Vote Dutch People’s Party and Iron and Wine!

As most of us know, the monthly congress elections are very near. In just two days citizens across the eNetherlands will elect a new congress to represent them over the next month.

The Dutch Revolutionary Party believes in having representatives that are active, involved, informed, accountable, and honourable, while at the same time extending opportunities to those who have never been in government before to have a chance to gain the necessary experience that is so needed in government officials. The DRP is a party modelled around supporting new players and giving them a chance to get involved whilst also providing a platform for older, dedicated citizens to encourage the next generation of leaders to get involved as well. As promised, this month the DRP will be providing that chance to two party members, one of which is a veteran in politics and another who has never been elected to congress before!

Just to reiterate, activity and trustworthiness are two very important characteristics we at the Dutch Revolutionary Party look for in our elected officials. Someone who is active is someone who replies to personal messages, participates in discussions, is registered on the forums, talks on the party wall in-game, and who has proven themselves to be a trusted DRP member.

While at the moment we have 8 members and we are currently outside of the top 5, we are technically unable to run candidates for congress on our own accord. However, over the past couple of weeks we have been offered places to run in both the Dutch People's Party and Iron and Wine, two very respectable eDutch parties. We are enormously grateful and thankful to both the DPP and I&W for this opportunity. With their help, the Dutch Revolutionary Party will, hopefully, be able to elect our first two congressional members ever!

If elected, our candidates will be as active as possible, participating in national discussions and visiting the national forum daily. Like I said before, our party believes our elected officials are ultimately accountable to the people, so our members will hold them to a standard of which we deem is acceptable. We ask our candidates to do their best to keep our party members informed of matters of which our members and citizens of our country may be concerned; only of course they are permitted to discuss them openly.

So who are the candidates of which I speak? Well, here they are!

Schoft

Lugiegreen

Schoft has been a Senator during his time in eAustralia several times and has had a great amount of experience in both the executive and legislative branches of government.

Lugiegreen has never been elected to Congress before and we are extremely happy he has decided to stand to represent the party in Congress for the first time ever! We believe he will be a great addition to this month’s group of representatives.

I thank both candidates for stepping forward and wish them both luck in the election as well as for their terms in congress if elected! We know you both will do fantastic! 🙂

Remember that the leaders we elect on the 25th of November will make decisions that will affect your everyday eLife.
