Day 788-789 Update plus Interview with Ines Schumacher

Day 789, 01:40 Published in USA Ireland by Bristel Akina

Hi eRep'ers!

Today, we have a small update of some of the more interesting stories of these two days.
The stories mentioned below are just some of the many battles, resistance wars, and news.

Day 789 is not over yet, so updates on these stories may come as the passes.

Resistance wars start in South Africa

Today, I have interviewed former two-time eSouth African President, Ines Schumacher about the situation occurring there.

Against the Indonesian-occupied Northern Cape, and against the Brazilian-occupied Gauteng, two resistance wars have started.

Here is my interview on the situation happening today in eSouth Africa, my questions start below, with her responses italicized. SSN is Shining Star News, and IS is Ines Schumacher.

Shining Star News:
I'd like to ask you a few questions, if you would like to comment on the current situation in eSouth Africa.
Currently, there is a resistance war in Gauteng and the Northern Cape, two areas under control by eBrazil and eIndonesia.

~SSN:
What is your opinion on the attempt to push out the occupiers of those two previously eSouth African territories?

~Ines Schumacher:

Hey, thanks for your interest in us. 🙂

Well, to put it simply, this RW is a great opportunity for us. Gauteng is our most important province in RL and it's very close to our hearts IG as well. We didn't plan for EDEN to RW Gauteng and we found out about it the same time Brazil did, but that doesn't stop us from doing our best to free the country.

Personally, I have great respect for Brazilians players I've had to negotiate with for eSA regions in the past, but the region is rightfully ours. We've tried it about a hundred million different ways but this seems to be our only option left.

The time is also right in terms of Brazil having an MPP with us, so they can't counter attack and we have 22 days to sort out some MPPs of our own. We've always been pro-EDEN, but preferred to stay out of the super alliances. I think that time has come and gone.

~BA: Has the eSouth African PTO attempts and hackings damaged eSA's ability to put pressure on eBrazil and eIndonesia?

~IS:

In terms of the PTOs and hackings - they definitely led to me keeping my eye off the ball in terms of eBrazil. It was a crazy month and I regret some of my decisions. However, they seemed right at the time. And the MPP that came out of it was rather awesome too. 😉

~BA:

Can you comment on your reasons for leaving eSA for the US Military and your move to Spain?

~IS:

I moved to the US Airborne to fight for EDEN, basically. Personally, I support EDEN - even though US congress seems to think otherwise. 😉 It's a great feeling to bring down a wall and I'm loving my time in the Airborne. However, I did get leave to go fight in Gauteng which I tanked with relish. 😉

--- Shining Star News wishes to thank Ms. Schumacher for her time and for her views on the eSA resistance wars.
