Crisfire for Congress August 25th

Day 1,005, 22:31 Published in Canada Canada by crisfire
Fellow eCanadians my name is Crisfire and I’m running for my first term as a DAL Congressman in Prince Edward Island. I would appreciate any support from any eCanadian on August 25th.

A little bit about me.

Military

I joined the Canadian Armed Forces right out of the gate and was accepted into the 2nd Platoon, 1st Canadian Rangers Division. I spent a couple weeks before I applied and was accepted into the 1st Eagle Eye Platoon, 2nd Division, now a mobile artillery Platoon. I was promoted pretty quickly to Corporal by Lt. Chamrajnagar and started to try and foster a stronger level of fun and camaraderie with various projects. Soon after that Lt.Chamjagnagar was transferred to the reserves and was replaced by then Sgt. Ace_Blazer, I was promoted to Sergeant and took over various assignments from roll call, platoon activities to the weekly activity report due to Lt. Ace_Blazer being assigned to a U.S. Military platoon in an exchange program. Soon after that Lt. Ace_Blazer was promoted to High Command and I accepted the position of Lieutenant of 1st Platoon, where I currently command a dwindling platoon of roughly 5, it was around 15 preV2.

Politics

I’m the new kid on the block, the cute one, and I’ve got a lot to learn. I choose to join the DAL for various reasons but mostly because I like what the DAL represents and how it cares for eCanadians new and old alike, how it strives to improve the lot of eCanadian businesses and the workers that they employ. I’ve recently been given the opportunity to help with that by been given the task of DAL Charity Director, I’ve got a lot of ideas for it; it will be a dynamic and enthusiastic tool to help retain not only party members but eCanadians. I envision it to be a beacon of charity and an example to other political parties to emulate.

I’ve also taken on the role of Deputy Minister of Immigration and am learning quite a bit from an old pro and an eCanadian great, Minister Etemenanki. So far its been an eye opening experience and a great look at the level of dedication and the necessary time it takes to screen and process applicants in order to keep our country safe.

Mentor

When Ace_Blazer took on the role of Minister of Education he put the call out for volunteers to mentor new eCanadians, I put my hand up. Since working with the Ministry of Education’s mentor program I have mentored well over 100 eCanadians, some successful, some not, that’s the nature of the beast, eRepublik is not for everyone. It has been a great feeling to me to see some of the successful ones and how high they are reaching and have yet to go, Id like to believe I played a small part in that, a very small part. I would encourage anyone with a few minutes of time to mentor a new eCanadian, even if it’s just one, contact the Minister of Education or myself if interested.

Business owner

I currently have 2 eCanadian companies, and the only reason I add this is because it has not only enabled me to contribute to eCanada by employing workers and providing a product, it has enabled me to give to fellow CAF members, DAL members, but especially those that I’ve mentored.

Congressman Hopeful

There will be one resounding question I will ask myself before I propose anything, vote on anything, or add an opinion about anything, that question is is this whats in the best interests of my country

I want to see more done with the Mentor program, more organization, and more volunteers.

I want to see a working Health Care program that works for new eCanadians who struggle in the beginning days or quit, its been inactive far to long.

I’m not seeing these things, so people join, get frustrated and quit. It’s a very few that join and stay, just look at the eCanadian registry and look at the dead and graduated columns, and know that mostly these only represent the people that asked for help, for the most part new eCanadians don’t sign up to the registry, that has to change. V2 has hit us hard, long time players and new alike have quit due to whatever, but more join everyday, we need to find them and show them there’s more to the game, that there is a community out there on the eCanada website, that there are political parties and their forums, that there are some great choices of military organizations to choose from and be apart of.

Any gold I get from a congress medal will go directly into the DAL charity.

I’m asking for your vote on August 25th, I will approach congress with the same enthusiasm and level headedness I’ve had since joining the game. I’m running in P.E.I but I’m running for eCanada and would appreciate your vote regardless of what province you reside in.

Thank you.
