CP First Update

Hello eAustralia,

First of all thanks to all who voted me as the new CP/Dictator of Austrlia. It was a very close election and I salute my oponent who lost only due to lower experience level:

Indonesia

As you would have seen in the past hours we have released Maluka Islands and are in the process of releasing Lesser Sunda Islands.

For those of you wondering whats going on, in the past couple of weeks Rusty and I were in discussions with some older players in Indo and then with the candidates for the current month.

We did this to start us on the path of normal realations with Indo which had been disrupted first by the NE on us, and then by a Indo CP who was uncomunitive, abusive and undiplomatic in every way. Our hardline on returning the remaining regions last month was entirely due to him.

Now that a new administration is in place who are willing to talk to us in a diplomatic manner, we are returning the regions to them. This will be shortly followed by a NAP more details of which will be in a follow up article.



Chile

The TW with Chile is not going exactly as planned but we will be closing it soon, and getting back regions taken by them. This was mainly due to us focusing more on preventing regions being released without our consent by Indo.

We are currently discussing with the new Chile government about getting this war closed when possible.

Also they are requesting a rent of our excess bonus regions, which we'll be discussing in the next few days while the tw is closed up. More details to follow.
