Congress Summary

Day 1,344, 18:18 Published in Ireland Ireland by John Gormley

Good evening!

Today, I was planning on doing a reasonably long summary on the Dáil election results.
However, after seeing what happened to the Mayo candidates, I'm too annoyed to go into detail. So, I will do an extremely brief summary and then show a less than complimentary cartoon of the glorious Plato. 😛

Yesterday, the elections took place in Cork and Mayo. We still had Mayo under our control when voting concluded but we subsequently lost it and, for what ever reason, admins decided that no Mayo candidates would be elected.
That left us with 9 "Official candidates" in Cork and 4 wild cards, so 13 in total. The results can be found HERE (thanks to those who voted for me btw).

The breakdown by party was: SoE=5, ILP=4, IIP=2, IUP=2.

And now for the cartoon of Plato:

Have a good night! 😃
