Clan Wolf Charter
The philosophy of Clan Wolf is based off the simple premise that eRepublik is a game to be enjoyed. To facilitate this enjoyment the party’s mandates centers around the core values of supporting and encouraging all players.
With these ideals the heart of Clan Wolf has evolved and endured beyond the boundaries of party and country. We are a brotherhood united by our mutual enjoyment of the game and the ideals that we hold on to. As such, Clan Wolf has and will forever continue as that ideal in the players that called Clan Wolf home.
We are a brotherhood of equals. Every voice is heard in Clan Wolf. The unity that unites us is a unity of inclusion. No player is discriminated against based off of level of activity, political alliances, current or previous, or shunned from the community.
All players, particularly new players, are supported and promoted to positions that may not be as readily available in other parties. We believe that in providing opportunity we encourage activity and invite experience.
Clan Wolf stands for a free and collective approach in politics and economy. We will always act to keep our country liberated from elitism and authoritarianism when those approaches strengthen our greatest adversaries, apathy and the dwindling interest in eRepublik.
Clan Wolf supports, encourages and attempts to lead by example. We believe in a civil political environment that respects the points of view of others and is open to working with other parties for the benefit of all eCanadians. Clan Wolf will always fight against corruption and tyranny by any means necessary. Towards this end, the party can and has honoured the nature of the wolf it respects and will viciously attack when called upon to do so.

Is this truly what the party stands for?
Although the initial party's creation was for a particular purpose, when that purpose was fulfilled in the first 4 months (3 years ago) , it's purpose grew into something else. At it's core, Clan Wolf has always been more of a guild of helpful people then anything else. Of course, it's detractors will, and have, label it everything else the sun. Regardless, Clan Wolf has endured for years because it is a unique group.
Believe it or not, this is exactly what Pickle's Patriots was founded upon. That each member, whatever political position, opinion, concern (as long as not a PTO, trouble maker or destructive intent) is welcomed and encouraged to pursue playing the game in the way that the individual gets the most from it.
Although It's been awhile (my fault, I'll take the blame) we are supportive and encourage new players, seeking to help them grow as quickly as possible into self sufficient and the most strong military, financial and influential citizens possible.
The core group at Pickle's have endured for about 3 years also. Consisted of players from countries around the RL world. We're in our 3rd eCountry of residence. Moving from the US because of political elites (sounds odd as some consider me an elite) and leaving many friends behind to try Switzerland. Ended up not being a good fit for their community we landed in Canada about a year ago and have thus far been feeling at home and enjoying ourselves.
Don't look for most of my guys to be very active any more, some are just barely 2-clickers. That's why I'm happy to see a renewed effort to get Clan Wolf fired up again. These are the only good reasons to play this damn game in my opinion.
The political module is clearly for politics, the MU module is for combat, but there is no for people that just want to work together in-game. In many other games this would essentially be a guild. We spend a good deal of time discussing how to scratch out a decent amount of cash, or achieve some degree of "success" through the game mechanics provided. Recently the MU chat has provided some flexibility in this regard, but the game is still lacking in this component. Ironic, as it is an activity that we wish to be active in, but the game prevents that activity, or at the very least doesn't help it.
We actually tried having our own party in the US. Most of the MU quickly joined the "Pickle Party" (it's a theme I suppose). For one reason or another, people who were active in previous parties just sat around and stared at each other. In a couple month we lost interest and abandoned the party to go back to whence we came. 😃
I think the mentality was wrong for us to do a political party. We weren't what you'd consider a typical MU either. Not being particularly organized or structured, we'd chat on our group PM. Most everyone would do their own thing. However if someone pissed on one of the Pickle's it caused a swarm effect with all of us swooping down on the offender.
Sounds very similar to CW. PMs as well. Even when the party was PTO'd, the "Party" continued on, to another country, back to Canada, in another party. Kept on going as I imagine it will until the servers go down.
