British Armed Forces (BAF) - an Update
Department for Munitions
G’afternoon comrades of our beloved National Military Unit,
As you may’ve noticed things have slowed down a tad since Rory left and Boaty took a break. They both did a great job in setting this ‘ere MU up but it’s up to us if we’re going to keep it going.
Paul has asked me to help get a few articles out again and I’ve asked F&P and Acroc if they’d like to lend a hand. If you also want to join the Staff we’d welcome all help – particularly with the new module coming up!
There are a few other issues than just staff shortages – whilst our tank supply is fine for the next couple or so weeks our commune simply isn’t producing enough to additionally support the current level of damage awards.
I doubt it is fair on other MUs in the eUK for us to dip into the £250k reserved for us just for exclusive awards and so we will collectively have to explore options to operate within our means.
We’re just sorting out the stats for last week and should have the usual rewards out soon. Keep an eye out, I’ll update the title of this article :3.
Cheers lads o7,
Paul & Appleby

Up to Congress committee to decide whether its fair or not. If the Armed Forces has a proposal which will benefit UK fighters in the MU then it should bring it forward
Just to add, not that I'm defending the MU, but by logic, if this is the national MU of the country, why should it care is it fair? Otherwise what is the point of the national MU, it will be the same as the rest...In that case, it's not fair.
NMU has legislation backing it up and so - therefore - is fully entitled to dip into that 250k.
Questioning this basis may lead to questioning whether the NMU should remain in its current form, whihc is a completely different issue.
PS I didn't spot that Rory left the UK for Cuba (which is a shame). Why did he go?
He's always occasionally gone on holiday for a change, I expect and hope he'll be back soon 😛.
As for dipping into the £250k I'd rather that be left for a proper war rather than just subsidizing half of our rewards scheme.
I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure what the point of this is. The only difference it seems for this MU is that those in it get given supplies paid for by the government, but surely it would be better to just help out the existing MU's that fight for the eUK anyway?
Or reward individual fighters rather than whole MU's.
Although I missed the whole thing about this national MU as I came back after, so is there more to it I don't know about?
p much what you said
The whole point of it was to try and get the main UK military units and the majority of of the UK's fighting population to join, increasing the UK's damage coordination and social interaction in this ever dying country. Unfortunately it failed, not surprising really a few weeks later the UK put in a terrible performance at an event that required that damage coordination.
Have a look at Ireland and UK's performance in the resource wars event, and how each country's military is set up.
