Military Manifesto
Now is the time to Invest in the UK Fighter!
Hello all,
This manifesto was written before Chew stole 6,000 Gold from the UK. But the point remains. We need to stop hiding millions in orgs for little return/large risk and start investing in the UK army. Many people will now say we MUST keep what we have left.. But again you are keeping all your eggs in one basket.
I am one of the biggest supporters of an aggressive strategy when it comes to war.
But before you go to f**k.. you put a condom on, in our case before you start a war - you train your army.
Something I think we have massively lacked is this vital investment in our military forces; so what do I propose to resolve this?
We have an active Fighting force of 419 (egov stats) its estimated around 50/75 are maxing the Training per day (91 Str) DID YOU KNOW: That Training is FREE, in fact you make profit once you max your TG's and use the TG Contracts..
My Target extend the 50/75 to all 419 this year. Starting NOW!
Extend our Slow Training Ground Loans Scheme
I raised this some time ago, But too little is being done and too slow.
The UK won a considerable amount of gold during a competition. We have 3000 Gold in the UK Treasury, which has been sat there.. Doing nothing for months and months. Gold WON by you, the Fighter! I think it’s time that money was reinvested back to the fighter. If elected I will setup an investment fund. It will be lead by both the MoF and MoD’s to create lists of active fighters. Now previous Governments have begun making small steps in such a scheme, but they are only small at the moment. We need to up the level now.
Our attitude is to begin selecting possible candidates when the TG offers (45% off) appear. We should reverse this and begin selecting potential fighters now. Setting up Gdocs to see the most trustworthy and active fighters. Selecting more than ever.. We can position ourselves positively to hand out gold supplies immediately.
From these lists we will hand out gold on recommendations from your Party Presidents. We also have http://www.egov4you.info available to track how active you are. Remember the more you fight and the more active you are the more likely you are to receive the loan. Those who have previously been given a loan and paid it fully back will again be granted further larger funding to get them higher level training grounds.
Note: If you receive a small loan, get your Training Grounds improved (you will earn gold faster, SS medals) If you pay your loan back in full. Your are almost improving your “Credit Rating” you WILL get another loan.
The aim is to take a player who can’t afford to buy gold, loan him that Gold.. he boosts his TG’s. Finish with a Fighter gaining 91 Str Daily and a SS medal (5 Gold every 2.7 Days).
You are richer, the UK is stronger. Win Win and at the end of the day the Gold we be retained and invested over and over.
Ultimately Don't STOP INVESTING IN THE UK ARMY BECAUSE OF ONE GUY!
tl;dr Version
How will it work:
1) You apply! Anyone
2) MoF and MoD will check every application, check current stat’s, activity and chat with PP.
3) CP and advisors will then make a final check.
4) Those chosen will receive a Gold Loan from the Government.
5) The Gold loan is to improve your Training grounds.
6) You must repay the loan amount. (if you pay on time, you will receive a slight reduce in repayment costs courtesy of my government & you WILL be eligible for a another loan)
Note: Step 6, to Promote activity on the IRC and #MoD, those who apply for a gold loan and who activity start/or use the IRC Military command room will receive a slight reduction on the loan repayments.
Active MU’s
I will also be promoting our most active MU’s, offering extra gold funding for 3 players from the top 5 MU’s who appear on the Rankings list during the month. This gives MU’s the opportunity to increase activity to help their own fighters with extended rewards. Rewards which will see the enhance their Training Grounds quicker.
One thing is for sure, When we select who receives the gold loans. Fairness must be adhered and so by being more active you can boost your chances. What I am trying to achieve is more activity.
Now the Training Ground Loan proposals at the top shouldn't cost the government a penny if run correctly and if respected. People shouldn’t see this gold as going one way, it will be returned. The current TG programme proves that players are paying back the loans.
As long as this continues the UK government should make all efforts to assist those who can’t buy gold.
Our Foreign Military Affairs
I touched on the fact TWO was having a hard time currently. But while we remain in TWO we will apply ourselves 100% to our allies when called upon. We will continue building relationships with our closest allies, but we must not rule out the possibilities that changes are ahead. Usually I like to shake up the Foreign office and install some new blood. However I think in these times we need our most experienced and influential players at the head of table, ensuring we are at the head of table when it comes to creating new alliances.
We have these players and I will make sure the UK is positioned to lead. We our the co-founders of TWO and will we be the founders of the next alliance, whenever that time comes.
France
France are wiping us off the map. Who ever becomes CP in January will have the fun of giving France a Beating. I pride myself on activity and tactics, timing and being able to get allied support in the critical battles. This is something we will most definitely require to beat France and kick them out of our lands.
Myself being an Aggressive CP when it comes to War, I would relish the opportunity to smash France into Perma wipe again.
MPPS and Saving Cash
For as long as we are wiped we are going to be losing a considerable amount of tax. So we must get back on the map asap. Now that we have lost a lot of money.. We must save cash. That means slimming down our unnecessary MPPs that are not worth the 10,000 CC. Being careful with Supplies and CO’s. I will ensure with a strong MoF that the UK must return to profit for the next month and hopefully be continued by future CP’s during the course of this year.
These are hard times for the UK but after reading I hope you agree with me. That these ideas are simple, but will require a lot of hard work and I hope to get the UK on the road to becoming a stronger and more active nation again.
It’s in these times when the true players stand up to help their nation.

It is Christmas so numbers are a little lower but according to Egov this week.
We have 419 active fighters. We about 50/75 having maxed out Training Grounds.
We need to extend that ASAP, that way the UK gains more Str, and we make more profit!

so then we will be attacked by another countries(i.e: france) we will have no money to protect ourselves.
the reason why gov hiding millions in orgs is that so we can make money from MM..
if we keep investing money and then we will have no money, that could be chance for another countries to attack us.
OK, i will throw some numbers at you and it may reflect some light on why MM is so risky.
Before Chew happened, we had some 1.4 million CC on the Market in the past we have had 2/3m million most certainly when I was last CP we were a lot richer.
We would MM fish, this month Butjam has been making 30k a month. Thats 1k CC a day.. Which is nothing for the time/effort/and risk.
You could cut a few weak MPP's and cut the risk of a market collapsing or just holding all that cash.
So why not spread the risk into the FIGHTER? the money will come back and the UK gets stronger...
I cant see the problem. If we really on a CO so much we are in big trouble. The fact is we can beat France in MPP battle, just not atm with the UNLIMITED TANKING available which ends tomorrow 😃
Which MPPs do you propose cutting?
There is no risk on the MM at the moment and wasn't for a long time. Keers made much more than 1k a day with less orgs, it just wasn't fully utilised.

Seems silly that the UK made all this money then didn't actually do anything with it. So I agree, we ought to start investing it into UK's fighters and at least that way, if someone comes along and steals the treasury like this month, its going to make it much more difficult when the majority of it would be held by UK citizens in loans.

It is very important to invest in younger players but more importantly we need to get an influx of new players which is always the hardest.

Depends entirely on who applies. Your right im over estimating so if the right guys come along then i'll be sort. I wouldn't so much about cabinet numbers yet :3

And yet you want to reward the top 3 damaging people in each MU, these are clearly people who are buying the MOST gold. Why give them more?

Have you looked at our finances? I mean this is a great idea but if our taxes don't cover the cost of MPPs will we just cut down on them? Can they be funded without earning money from money market?
1) Maybe I worded wrong. I mean the weaker members within an active MU not the top hitters. Those players will already have max TG's I would suspect.
2) We really made very little from the MM market.
We have the option to print currency I think 600,000 CC can be raised while gold is low.
We made 30k which is 3 MPPs and was sustainable. Printing currency is surely dependent on gold reserves and prices and is not necessarily sustainable long term.
3 MPP's or not wasting money on pointless CO's.
They are many ways to save money. But The point is the amount of risk floating money in orgs to the profit..
For example. Norway generates almost 1k a day.
Wipe them and you no longer need to have that stored money.
We don't need a knee jerk reaction to a CP stealing our cash. Not playing the MM with Orgs is simply cutting the amount of cash we can gleam from the game. Handing Chew yet another victory over us.
We should always be playing the MM as well as trying to invest in accounts. It's a case of balance and bang for our buck.
