You probably know about new extra special and very limited offer:
My first reaction when I saw this new extra special and very limited offer:
My first thought was that my Q5 companies and products will worth nothing and made a stupid decision and I dissolved my two Q5 food companies and I upgraded my two Q5 weapon companies to Q6.
That was stupid decision because I did something before I calculate a potential profit from it.
Maybe at start profit was huge when you could sell some Q6 mammoth at market when players were curios and they payed even 1000 local currency for it.
But after few hours, prices were fallin’ and I know in few days prices for Q5 weapon will be same like price for Q5 tanks few weeks ago.
It’s true that nobody will fight with Q5 tanks, but not because of price, it’s because of 10% more damage with Q6 weapon.
But why everyone wanted to have Q5 company and now Q6 company??
You probably think that you’ll earn a fortune with Q6 company every day. How much do you think you’ll earn per day with Q6 company? 2,3 or 5 gold per day?
I used information for Brazil and let’s calculate profit just when you work as a manager:
I think maybe ¾ of new Q6 companies are weapon companies and because of that you can see that almost 80% more profit every day is in Q6 food company.
But you can see that you’ll profit more if from work as manager in two Q5 companies than in one Q6 company.
Let’s see what if you employ one worker in your food or weapon company:
You can see that you can earn from one worker 63 BRL in Q6 weapon company and almost five times more in Q6 food company!!!
But salaries on job market are going up and down and you’ll need much time for rotating workers in one Q6 company and many stupid company owners will raise salary by 1 or even 5 BRL and your salary will be too high to be profitable - yesterdays salary on Brazil’s job market was 416 BRL
Your dream is build company and spend 580 gold or Q5 company + 200 gold and earn just from work as manager and maybe 0.5 gold per day from workers??
Many of you are wrong with that dream, building Q6 company isn’t so profitable, today some other companies are much profitable than Q6 company.
*This all calculation today for Brazil is with current bonuses, for food 80% and for weapon 100%.
Q4 food material company is cattle farm and Q4 weapon material company is saltpeter mine and that company has best return on investment ratio in this moment despite how many bonuses your country have.
Why do you think I have 45 cattle farms and 87 saltpeter mines? Because they are most profitable in this game for money I invested in it.
Let’s say you spent 190 gold on Q5 company when was “special one time limited offer” 50% discount on upgrades and now you spent 200 more gold for upgrade on Q6 company = 390 spent gold on Q6 company and you’ll earn maybe 1 gold per day from it.
1 gold = 1024 BRL, for 390 gold you can get 399360 BRL and if we know that we need 7500 BRL for Q4 company and 1000 for a land = 47 Q4 raw material companies for one Q6 company
If you build 47 cattle farms in Brazil you’ll earn 3405 BRL per day = more than 3 gold per day
If you build 47 saltpeter mines in Brazil you’ll earn 4606 BRL per day = more than 4.5 gold per day.
I didn’t calculate toolbox bonus here but I know from my work in raw companies that you earn 1 toolbox in work as manager in 25 raw companies. If you have 50 companies that is two toolbox per day and that is extra profit for you
*If you have citizenship in country where currency is stronger, you can take citizenship from some smaller country (some of your allies) and you can build even more companies for same gold and than take back citizenship in your country - I guess you know that all companies changes location automatically with your citizenship.
If you want Q6 tanks, you can buy it from your daily profit, you don’t need to have Q6 company to be rich in this game!!!
If you earn 3000 local currency per day that is 90000 per month and that is over 10 new raw companies and in few months you can have more companies than me
If you don’t earn much, save for one Q4 raw company and build one by one and every day, every week, every month you’ll earn more and more per day and I’m sure that you’ll can train with all boosters and fight all day with Q6 tanks soon
Don’t worry if you have a lot Q5 tanks (or other products) on stock - there always “someone” who will buy it.
Last few days I see many people are leaving this game and I can’t believe it :S
I hope it isn’t because of this change because your Q5 companies aren’t worthless because there is always “someone” who’ll buy your products and you don’t need to buy gold with € or $ for taking this one, special and one time offer for upgrade to Q6 company.
There was many many many other bad changes than this and we survived it.
I think older players and players with highest military ranks should be mad because of this change because now everyone can reach God of War with Q6 tanks and that will be 10% easiest for new players than for current God of Wars because they reached it with Q5 tanks and 10% less damage.
Don’t look at every limited offer like a attack on your wallet, it isn’t crime to buy gold with € or $, I’m kind a famous that I bought only two gold over mobile phone and I can be example that you can do it the same thing - have fun in game and earn maximum 10 gold per day.
I hate only cheaters but I respect players who buy gold because if nobody spent € or $ on this game this game would die long time ago.
I gave you a plan how much you can spent 390 gold on companies and you can earn from it at least 3 gold per day but it’s hard to reach 390 gold and you can build one by one Q4 raw companies but you can buy gold and spare time for yourself. And if you want spare € or $ you’ll have to spent time like me here
I always said that we can leave game, and that is easiest way to do it, but with every change we are change it with it - 3 years ago I worked, trained and buy Q1 food on market and spent 1 minute per day on eRepublik - now we have 100 health every hour and I come here every 6 hours
I know what I do with every change - I adjust to it.
Some of you want bunch of medals, some of players want Media mogul medal, some of you want Battle Hero medal, some of you want earn enough for all boosters everyday - give yourself some goals here to accomplish and go for it and just enjoy a part of this game what you like.
What are my goals?
1. After I complete this missions I’ll dissolve my Q5 company and build more Q4 raw companies - I’ll have at least 170 Q4 raw companies - now I don’t work in all companies and I work as manager in Q5 company
2. I don’t like too much military in this game and I’ll fight only for daily orders for some time and for other food fight I’ll work in my companies and I won’t chase battle hero medals - It’s more profitable to work in companies than chasing BH medals
3. Collecting and buying candy bars with my daily profit and I’ll collect at least 1000 candy bars and make 100 million damage in some campaign - I’m planning do it at the end of 2012.
4. Enjoying at meetings with citizens of eWorld across Europe
Just advice for this mission:

If you didn't know you can earn 18300 Q5 tanks, you have 3 more days to be original and creative

My goal is to have 35 saltpeters in my land.

Actually you did the right thing with your q5 food companies, by giving up on them. You can always migrate the q6 tanks into q6 food, but no matter which is more profitable today, I strongly advise against doing it.
Having 267 buildings in my land I would never dissolve one q6 whatever for more q4 raw companies, that's madness.
And it's the right thing to keep your q6's, after all, you can always sell them for 522 gold at least. If there is no other q6 special offer soon, they'll start changing hands like q1 cookie factories. Even if you don't sell them, it's still a good idea to keep them instead of q5's otherwise you'll be left behind in the dust.

@Radu - I had 15 Q5 companies and 10 of them I dissolve and spent that gold on fighting
If I won't sell Q6 companies probably I'll dissolve them one day xD

There is another advantage Q6 wep , and that is 6 uses . On 10 - Q6 wep u will spend 12 - Q5 .

My Q5->Q6 food company upgrade gained me ~ 35 gold in day 1491 and ~15 gold in day 1492.
25% of the investment has already returned.

Truly, I did not buy my Q6 for money. Yesterday, I calculate about 24 employees a day to make 2g (for two training so). A bit less than twice (42, the right number) to make a full training.
That is just not my way to play. I have plenty of currencies for ages to make my 10g/day and I produce many products to build up some Q4 raw from time to time.
Since I left my pacific way of playing (I was only GM back to Rising or V1) because of the childish module they created, I have only fighting to do, write articles (In French because I am lazy I guess) or interact with people. So I fight mostly in the game and I need Q6.
But indeed, and that's my point, Q6 profitable ? No way with weapon, too much people on the market. Or you have a script to fire people and hire right after, which is just no my way to play.
For Q6 food, well, I just find ridiculous the product and I will probably never buy it. I have my Q5 for my own concumption, and my Q4 to sell some products.

I disagree with you on this point. I think they should do it at 23:00 because what if...
what if they're not in good "shape" at 23:59?
what if there's a power failure?
what if they're "otherwise occupied"?
what if "nature calls"?
