Dear citizens, you probably read this here. Our MoF failed hard. He posted 1800 g for 0.031 JPY instead of 1800 JPY for 0.031g.
We should expect something better than this fail from Oligagnon who was nominated as MoF for 2 terms now, true, but we shouldn't talk bad about him. We are all humans and sometimes we make bigger or smaller mistakes.
So I call Oligagnon forth, to show that he is a man of honor, one that pays for his errors.
Oli show that you've balls and pay for this error with your own gold and apologize all citizens of Empire. If U don't do this, You will give us Your head on a plate.

He's acting like he's a big man. The same guy who was the Polish ambassador to Japan and then took citizenship and was forced to resign as the Polish government official.

All of it can be made back in 3 weeks, in the mean time we have to wait for admin to respond, this wouldn't have happened if it weren't for their garbage coding.

I would like to remind all, who now demand unrealistic things like payback: "This is just a game"
Nobody was hurt and nobody will be poor because of this.
Demanding payback is like forcing him to quit the game, because all the money he will ever make would be to payback the debt and that is like slavery.
He made a simple mistake, many people facepalm, I had a good laugh early in the morning and thats it.
So please people, lets forgive and forget, so that we all can return to our everyday business.
Hmm, not sure about this one. I'm one who believes in paying back debts, but 1800 gold? No way. It would take him forever.
Maybe he should just put *some* of his own gold back into the bank. But really, with the amount of money circulating on a daily basis, his dozen or so gold wouldn't change anything.
So, there isn't much else to do than just say, "oops," and hope he learns from the mistake and double checks from now on.
So, I say, just let Oligagnon go and hope the admins help us out with that.
Considering 1800 gold is what is made on the monetary market in about 3 weeks time I can't really see us calling for his resignation. He made a whole lot more than 1800 gold for eJapan ion the time he was MoF. It's not like we lost ALL our money either, there's still a considerable amount left.
I'm sure all those calling for him to resign or pay the money back are just raging because they know they will never have that much money in their hands and now they feel offended someone just lost a substantial amount.
All that being said even IF Oli could pay back the money over the course of a month or so, that is not really his money. The majority of the money made in Oli's companies are used to reinvest in new companies (and thus the Japanese economy) and He can't really change that since we are a good amount of shareholders that own part of that money too.
If everyone here should pay with their head everytime they make a mistake we wouldn't have more than a fucking handful of players. You people should be ashamed of yourself for making this an issue to remove your political opponents, I'm pretty sure Oli feels bad enough as it is.
elesde and Oli had a heated argument in IRC the other day over elesde getting fired in time to deploy. So basically this article is elesde's opportunity for revenge.

Actually Angud, it is. eLeSDe is acting very immaturely, and is taking an opportunity to take some potshots at Oligagnon. I find it funny the eLeSDe is making theses, because he and his clique know who took the money. In fact, following Angud's line of reasoning on his forum post, Angud is friends with the person who took it.

Sorry to disappoint you angud, but kicking a man that's already down is not ok here in eJapan either. you can be disappointed as much as you want, but truth is only one person made an article about this of all the people that took part in the discussion on forum, oonly one felt he had to share it with the rest of the world. That's immature behaviour and it reeks of vengeance..
