AVT Wants Your Vote in the NT

Day 1,371, 21:10 Published in Australia Australia by Adam Von Templar
Introduction

Well guys its that time of the month again and I am seeking re-election to the senate under the Green and Gold Party in the Northern Territory.

What did you do this term?

Well the actual truth is not much! But that is the way I like it, you see the senate for the first time in a long time has functioned remarkably well, being free from petty arguments and intrigues. It was an honor to be part of a senate that was only used to conduct senate business.

Instead we did what we were suppose to do; sorted out taxes.

Signed MPPs to better guard our borders and help our allies.

And make sure the ADF is properly funded.

What are my views?

Last but not least what are my guiding principles you could expect me to rely on in the next senate term?

Economically I would describe myself as a proponent of low taxes and free trade, ie I think the government should tax the Australian people as low as possible while still having the money to run government services. In terms of free trade I support the lowering a tariffs to allow cheaper goods into the market to the benefit of eAustralian consumers. During this term of the senate we have moved to a lower import taxes setting and this has not only decreased prices but also led to higher government revenues.

In foreign affairs I believe that our only option is diplomacy when it comes to the Indo question, time and again the military option has failed, however we cannot let our guard down as the Indos have proven to be unhonourable and untrustworthy.

In terms of the military I believe in the primacy of organised military forces in the form of militias and the ADF over un-organised individual efforts. I will always support the better financing of the ADF and also bring up the possible funding of MU's dependent upon the financial situation and transparency of said organisations.

Conclusion

In summary please consider voting for me if you are in the NT on election day or if in another state please consider one of my fellow GnG Party Members.

Cheers
