AVT Running for ANP Party Leadership
Adam Von Templar
Throwing My Hat in the Ring
Hello fellow party members,
I am here stating my intention of running in the Party Presidential elections this month; I wish the best of luck to my opponents and relish the chance to show eAustralia that a vibrant democracy still exists in the country’s oldest and greatest right wing party.
What I Will Do
My aims if I was elected as PP include:
- Increasing party membership numbers through targeted messaging and media articles.
- Increasing member participation in forum and IRC discussions.
- Better communication and relationships with other eAustralian parties.
- Stop personal attacks on political opponents, instead I want to debate our political opponents based upon their policy and ideas.
- Better coordinated senate voting to maximise our senate representation.
Since my return from eCanada I have started a couple of initiatives (ANP Survey, gold for forum sign-up etc) to try and help reverse the falling membership numbers and increase activity. In the last week we have seen 10 new members join the party, I wish to continue this trend with more emphasis on the conversion from party members in game to forum sign-up and activity.
So please consider me for your Party President,
Cheers
AVT

ANPMAXXXX - Opposition forces are gathering at the gates Lord Ferrum.
voted, good luck AVT.
Voted! put this man in charge!
I look forward to the ANP finally having its own MU. Cunning move. Good luck.
LOL so the opposition comes on from within and PTOs the party again. No worries. We got it back last time and we will again.
- Increasing party membership numbers through targeted messaging and media articles.
This has been done for months and to great success. When I was PP the party was on life support at 40 members and went up to mid 50s by the time I left the post. Lord Ferrum has done considerable work since to bolster that number.
- Increasing member participation in forum and IRC discussions.
With the likes of you in charge, the number will drop further.
- Better communication and relationships with other eAustralian parties.
Sure if you want the ANP to be another cardboard cut-out and selling out the members in the political right. Short of saying 'hello' what else is there to 'communicate'?
- Stop personal attacks on political opponents, instead I want to debate our political opponents based upon their policy and ideas.
Where violence leads, hatred breeds. The ANP has been the subject of attacks by opposition parties for months. What do they expect - a handshake?
- Better coordinated senate voting to maximise our senate representation.
So you want to take a small number of candidates and place them in the same regions, with the same strategy with the highest success rate on party population and better it how? Nice idea if we had more candidates run but we don't. So what now Mr Magic Man?
Last but not least, of all people who should be ANP President or even be in the ANP, you're only short of Larni and Crumpets for the sheer audacity to even think the members will support you. If you win, it will only be because you've stacked the party with government support. So we'll see how it goes, but if you get over the line, it's clear the government's plans for political suppression will well and truly be in full swing.

- Firstly, thank you for your plethora of comments TJ, I can see you have stuck to your usual quantity over quality but I will endeavour to placate your concerns. I was an active senator for the ANP well before you even started playing, I left around the time of SC’s disappearance and quit politics in general. I want a strong ANP, if that makes me a PTOer so be it.

- Yes it is a team effort but ANP has been dropping relative to other parties for months. I intend to reverse that and capture the second largest party position with an eye on first. In the last week I have sent many recruitment messages, I will not claim all the credit but we have gained 10 members, I will continue this trend as my main goal.
With the likes of you in charge, the number will drop further.
- Actually TJ I have got a few new members onto the forum in the last few days.
Sure if you want the ANP to be another cardboard cut-out and selling out the members in the political right. Short of saying 'hello' what else is there to 'communicate'?
- Do not confuse other peoples dislike of you for dislike of the ANP as a whole, I intend to show the parties that there are other voices within the ANP that want to negotiate for the best outcome for eAustralia. I want to dispel the ‘ANP vs the rest’ mentality that you have been pushing as it counter-productive to the party and the country and only serves to reinforce your paranoia.
Where violence leads, hatred breeds. The ANP has been the subject of attacks by opposition parties for months. What do they expect - a handshake?
- Sure we have political opponents but does that justify tabloid style attacks on them? I want to return to debating based on policy and ideas, something we used to excel at, if you want a tabloid style party please check out CH’s.
So you want to take a small number of candidates and place them in the same regions, with the same strategy with the highest success rate on party population and better it how? Nice idea if we had more candidates run but we don't. So what now Mr Magic Man?
- I will run an organised r drive prior to the election to try and fill our ballot tickets, I will also try and resurrect the ‘voting squad’ tactic.
Last but not least, of all people who should be ANP President or even be in the ANP, you're only short of Larni and Crumpets for the sheer audacity to even think the members will support you. If you win, it will only be because you've stacked the party with government support. - Again I am in no way connected to the government, or as you imply connected with Larni, I came back from eCanada because I did not like what you had turned the party into during the last CP’s. I have decided to run as during my recent survey and other initiatives I have been asked to by some members. If I win thats great, but if I lose I will continue to work with whoever is PP to try and restore the party to its former glory. Either way I am not going anywhere.
where the cookies at? 😉
Simo I sent them to TCO HQ, last time I saw them Tem had them for QA.....
Sounds good to me!!
ANP needs AVT
I'm not sure about this fellow.
Sheer Brilliance!
Good luck, Brofessor!
TJMAXXX!!!!
Sorry, wrong article.
Adam Von Templar new ANP Party President!
Good luck AVT
I dislike the ANP more than TJ.
But a rudderless ship with a new captain is still a rudderless ship. Just saying.
Get some real policies already.
Voted, good luck!
ANP has always been the greatest party in Australia. And this competition for leadership can only makes us better! I'm excited!
"Stop personal attacks on political opponents, instead I want to debate our political opponents based upon their policy and ideas."
Take baby-steps first AVT, TJ's ANP isn't ready for that yet.
Stupid politicians
How I hate you! All of you.
Increased membership of the party. And of course, because of you.
Fight. Fought. Each other.
Unfortunately, now I'm busy.
Tomorrow may be little time to write in more detail.
Everyone (AVT, TJ, Lord F)
But one thing you should know:
I'M THE ENEMY! (Or not?)
...
Go Adam.
Good luck.
I expect this election to be fair, that means no importing MU friends to vote for you Adam. I'll be watching the membership levels.
I didn't know Canadians could vote in Australian parties?
Very refreshing approach AVT - good luck
