Hello everyone,
I would just like to apolagize for comments I made over the IRC about a tragic event that occurred in Croatian history.
It was said out of frustration during the gloating of an individual responsible for the PTO of THE PATRIOTS.
Still in a community where we have distinctive members of Croatian nationality my comments insulted and offended many, many people who had zero involvement in the PTO & to those I would like to say I am deeply sorry for that comment and regret it very much.
Personal feuds have resulted in a PTO of a party I cofounded, to "troll" 4 people by punishing almost 40 is unjust. It has derailed a militarism movement that was rocketing in popularity and politically damaged Ireland. On behalf of myself & Hank Scorpio I would like thank the IUP for their generous offer, the Irish Government for their support & the many friendly faces in our media that have denounced this action.
Lastly to a message to those who took part. Ireland is at a cross roads in terms of foreign policy, we let you into this country because you fell on hard times in your own, we voted for many of you in elections & considered you friends. It is a deep worry that many Croatians supported the PTO of an Irish party, I hope that if Ireland moves into a direction against EDEN that this country wont face a PTO by those same few.

Maybe you should just of said sorry right away and not attached a political measage to it. When Croatians were PTOing other parties I never saw you get upset, but it is diffrent when it is your party?
I am sorry, that is a game that is meant to be fun, that some good members of our comunity were insulted, reguardless of there RL nationality.
Racists have no place in our comunity.

Up to the end of the first paragraph you were doing so well.
Sadly you went on a rant after that and more or less insulted them again,
"we let you into this country because you fell on hard times in your own"

You got taken over because of personal attacks, not because it was political.
Can we prove anything Nogin? You seem to know a lot about the motives behind this PTO...
Personally, I don't know anything about it. All I know is that there was a PTO, for I've seen it while monitoring the "who's online" list. Even if I disapprove his previous words, Padraig is the first one trying to do a step forward outside of resentment and into reconciliation.

This kind of official and public apology from Padraig is an achievement for Padraig and asking for more would be too much to ask coz this article is a big step forward for Padraig.
Considering who and what Padraig is...a really step forward...

I belive you always defend "oppressed" if you can benefit from that.
Patriots are hardly oppressed considering most members have a huge history of oppressing others.
One could even say its Karma.
And fact is Patriots gained strenght in numbers by pulling members from Saoirse....and some of those pulled members decide to vote for someone else....
Multies are always involved during elections.
EA for example...during elections we had 12 members and 12 votes devided between Leo and Bristel.

When i was in IFP Conway joined few days before elections with his small army of outside voters and multies to help Malbekh to elect moo for PP and replace legendary Ronisu. They failed that time.
So again boy....check who you defend before start defending people with a long history of bullying..

I know it's a sore point for the party, but can we start to draw a line underneath this? One step done, the next is the PP of the party.

I don't see any apology here. You just have your mind set that way everybody you insulted was involved in PTO. But nice try. I must say i support Kurgan, this a big step for you to bad you are still far away from the line that marks normal people and sad little man who get their kicks by insulting others.

On one hand your comments on the PTO can be seen as patriotic to your party. One item in which THE PATRIOTS stand for is "We desire for a clear Irish majority in eIreland.". Surely the political parties of Ireland should be run by the Irish, it makes logic sense.
On the other hand you aim for "a UNITED country" which leaves broad the nationality of citizens in which you want to unite.
Perhaps this PTO was not operated solely by Croations. Perhaps larger parties who have suffered defeat at the hand of THE PATRIOTS are intending to overrule and gradually demolish the party in a bid to retain their former glories.
I really see no need as to why we must flood comment threads with pitiful insults aimed at those who in the past made mistakes, but are now trying to set straight.
All the parties talk about uniting Ireland, but the reality is its every man for himself.
People need now to put the past behind them and leave whats done, done, and focus on the future and how much better we can make it.
I can't help but feel I will be told in too inexperienced to comment on such events or how this message has no meaning, just broad statements of observations. But look closely and you will see I have here right now laid out the reality for all to bare witness too despite the fact most will not accept it.
Also the last paragraph is a political statement masterfully 'recoded' into apologatic form.

moomoohead as far as I know Croatians are Caucasian like the Irish. The correct word is therefore not racism but xenophobia. I also feel that this is enough of an apology and that we can let the issue go. I think the PTO was planned but that its either a handful of players or just 1 psycho. Frankly I will not waste my money in establishing either a MU(due to stupid 2 week rule) or a PP due to it being so easy to lose control of it.
