Another boring French/Canadian bullying war

Today we lost another agonisingly close battle with the French. Again hats off to Eden and Terra for a quick response and you deserve plaudits for that. I would say we should dust ourselves down and look forward to learning from this again...yet i have seen Canada are voting to natural enemy us and it looks like this will pass.
So once again we get two countries who can not handle themselves against the bigger eRepublik countries deciding to group up on an even smaller nation. Fair play it is just a game. But for the sake of boredom it is a pitty that Canada and Portugal were not strong enough to tackle the Spaniards for long or even the Yanks and Canadians were not mighty enough combined to rout the Polish without being humiliated...so we bare the brunt. Again.
The time has come to ask serious questions of our alliance with ONE. We were promised that Poland would mop up any backdraft after we were encouraged to join the campaign to wipe France. A week or so later and Poland are sitting pretty, the US sought and got peace and the Canadians fled, rattled their shields and licked their wounds in the knowledge they are not the power they believe they are. Yet we are now facing a wipe...and in all the close battles we have had so far against Terra/Eden and France Division 4 has been the one that has exposed our importance within ONE. We appear to have been cut off from the ONE big hitters and cut adrift with no prospect of liberation.
Questions need to be raised immeditaly about ourselves as damage is split between RW's and battles where we should be focusing on just one. Questions need to be asked about our ONE membership. Questions need to be asked about our Irish peace deal after many an Irish fighter was seen tanking areas that were handed to us in exchange for Scotland and Northern Ireland, as well as why there has been little communication from the Irish Government advising its troops not to tank those said regions.
It will be indeed a tough month for our new President Mr Keers.

@Klop, well you did have a border when you attacked them through France...how did that work out for you? \o/ TBH i do envy your strength though.
Well no doubt once you roll through the UK i am sure you could agree with France for a deal where you take at least one southern region so you have a border with Poland? Or is it for France to seal the South protecting Canada?
But if we do join this new alliance...and we have been named in it...then we'll see if Franada is allowed to join the fun

Yes, an Irish wipe makes sense when you have Frenchies surrounding London and Canadians attacking Wales. Once you get your house in order and have damage to spare Dublin and Louth still await. Honestly, it would solve a lot of these problems if the UK joined TEDEN, an interesting prospect that would shape the map.
Even if we joined TEDEN people would still have a bug up their arses about us having Dublin....with RW's a plenty.
Still if we do end up in this super alliance it will be interesting to see what France and Canada do when they won't have the eUK to push about. Neither big enough for other wars and both too small to be a major player

I agree that eIreland probably deserves a good wiping considering the way some of them have behaved regarding the land swap. You have bigger problems at the moment though.
I don't know whether it is either ONE rallying around us, eUK finally getting our act together or Canada not really tanking...but we are currently hammering the Canadians in Wales
Please don't buy votes. It may convince those less observant players that your idea of us becoming turncoats is a good one.
Leave the Irish alone, last time we took on three countries we were without congress for three months. Sooner or later the French will have to back down to get their own regions back and that is when we get ours back.
My opinion on this matter is that ONE needs to sort out priorities, France should be our top priority right now as they are the greater of two evils. Ireland should be left alone, if they can't be arsed with keeping to agreements, then that's a problem we need to sort out with diplomacy not another war. Canada from what I remember are a weak country so even if they do take our regions, we can take them back eventually, however France is the most concerning. We need our Polits to sortout wtf is..
going on with our current allies, we shouldn't be turncoats at the end of the day and show that even when faced with possible loss of our country we should hold up our side of deals and agreements we have signed away. It's the only way we can be shown respect.

@Peej02 - who is buying votes? I never have and never will so you have completely shown yourself up already. I really don't know where you have got that from and was against political parties doing it too...one thing i am not is a hypocrite so you might want to know what you are talking about before making accusations.
As for turncoat, havent we already been in other organisations? Didnt we used to be allies with the French? Times change and alliances do too.
@Peej02 also if you show me anyone who has a shout or PM showing i offered to buy votes...or anything showing i have ever used one of those vote buying links that get advertised on the shout boxes occasionally then I'll happily close this paper permanently and apologise.

Actually a slight one yes. I have always been against vote buying....subscription buying or election vote buying. It goes against the spirit of the game.
It would look pretty idiotic considering i was one of those that wanted ESO to take the moral high ground and help influence other candidates and parties to earn their votes rather than buy them.
Certainly a turbulent time for alliances etc.
And for the record I like the Irish - even when we were fighting each other they were good sports (the non-Croat ones anyway).
So a few eIrish take Dublin and the English want to attack the whole of Ireland. Really says a lot about the English in general.
Yeah, the eUK lost Dublin and Louth because their damage had to shift south to fight the French. Without official eIre government posturing to keep Dublin and Louth you'll just walk in again. Yeah you'll have consistent RWs, but we both knew that would be the case when we signed the Treaty. In fact many of the Irish people were sold giving Dublin (A redundant region for both of us) on the pretext that it would be a True Patriot farm.
Very few want to attack Ireland, myself i would rather end the land swap through negotiations. Wile Eden and Terra repeatedly are tanking Dublin and Louth it makes no sense in keeping it...food bonus or not.
But a war with the Irish would not make sense after we have finally ended the back and forth boring tit for tat wars...shame the French and Canadians don't take the same route

Eiros, it is only a minority who want to attack Ireland, but unlike your country we respect the treaty we signed with Ireland for the land swap and even some of the eUK citizens fought for the Irish for you to keep those swaped regions. Didn't see any of your citizens doing the same.
Orinocco, you are simply wrong. The amount of Irish citzens that want to revoke the treaty is likely analogous to the amount of the eUK that wants to invade eIreland. There were also definitely Irish citizens that fought in many of the close RWs to preserve the treaty, though the last RWs were a fairly lost cause, there was no way you all were going to put the necessary damage in. I even saw a few instances where single Irish citizens won a BH on the Irish side and the Brit side simultaneously.
@Orinocco~I personally did millions of damage for eUK in Dublin RW's and earned a couple of BH's in the process. I was disappointed to see our former MoD win both BH and CH in Louth after stating he supported the land swap. While the majority of eIrish citizens supported the land swap a few were actively fighting against it. Their choice.
Considering the past history between our two ecountries I really can't blame the eIrish who supported the land swap but weren't willing to fight for eUK.
