Join the new world

Dear Jbdivinus,

I write this letter today with a glowing heart. I have logged on today to see that the elections results from yesterday have been confirmed by the Admins are you are now the President of the DAL the party to which I am a member.

For months I have watched the party which I joined over a year ago get run by a group of ne'er-do-wells in the shadows while the general membership was led like sheep to do their bidding. Long have the shackles chaffed the wrists and ankles of the party masses while those in the "Inner Circle" have sat leisurely by and done nothing but command those below them in an attempt to maintain power for themselves.

But as of yesterday that has changed. The demagogues and tyrants that once ruled this party have received a wake up call. The days of old when they could sit on their haunches and command the mindless support of the "2-click army" are past us. Those in this party that have relied on the faceless masses who asked for nothing in return and would blindly click wherever they saw the party logo will now have to rely on themselves to maintain their tenuous grip on the power they so deeply rely.

That mindless horde that was subjugated for too long by too few has awoken. They have seen how they've been treated, and have shaken the fleas from their backs. They will no longer allow themselves to be relied upon like worthless pack animals trudging endless while bearing the full load of their supposed self-appointed masters.

As the winds of change blow the sweet smell of what tomorrow can bring empowers us. We can see now that the future doesn't have to be littered with the same empty promises and broken dreams that we have become accustomed too in the past. We are ready to stand for ourselves, make our voices heard and finally after far too long we can hope to achieve something great without fear of being crushed under the boots of those who have far too much to gain by keeping us in the prison of their own creation.

To you Jbdivinus I send out my most heartfelt and sincere thanks. What I see in your leadership is the chance for a future in this party that a month ago most wouldn't have thought possible. As the old guard are forced to reassess and reconsider how they have treated and dealt with those they thought under them the prospects for everyone grow brighter.

Thank you Jbdivinus. It is my true belief that what has happened here will be marked in the annals of history as a true watershed moment for this party. A party that I can finally say I am proud to be a member of.
