An Interview with the Country President of Spain

So I did an interview with the Country President of Spain! It’s got a little bit of everything in it, so I hope you enjoy it!

Question 1:
First of all, why on earth did you start playing this game called Erepublik?

Answer:
Well, my university colleague played Erepublik and he wanted 6 gold, from referrals, which is what you got after reaching level seven. So, after 6 months bothering me o accepted enter as his referral. My friend left the game after three months of playing, and I am still here after 5 years.


Question 2:
Ah, so you've played the game for FIVE years? How come you've stayed for so long, what part kept you here?

Answer:
Its easy, the game is getting worse not better, but the irc community is more bigger than the actual game, and that’s what has made me stay here and play for five long years! I’ve gotten to know fantastic people here, and made some great friends as well!


Question 3:
This term was you first as Country President, what has been the most surprising during the term?

Answer:
How things can be so different depending on if you’re on the inside or the outside, your vision change a lot! For me the thing that was the most difficult is to make everyone happy, but sometimes its hard because people always want different things and have a vision very different to yours, so for me that was a challenge! But a grateful challenge!


Question 4:
What's your view on the current stance of alliances?

Answer:
At this moment i think it’s like it’s always been in Erepublik, one alliance with more power than the others! After all nothing really changes 😛 The only thing that changes is which countries are in which alliance, but like i said before, the interests are always the same, FIGHT and CONQUER!


Question 5:
Alright, and if we would fastforward five months, what would you think would've been the biggest change?

Answer:
Easy, Erepublik would be dead if administrators don’t change something to make people play. Well it’s the truth, day by day the game have less people.


Question 6:
What would be the changes the admins could make to keep people play?

Answer:
For me and for my vision, work as manager poof out, limited energy, some changes in economy. For me that’s enough, maybe reintroduce the different currencies, for players can speculate economy and markets. Limited energy, for more military strategy.


Question 7:
So, what will you be up to after this term ends?

Answer:
Well, maybe a good vacation from erepublik, maybe 2 click. After all 5 years, one person gets tired. 🙂 I think I’ve achieved all of my objectives in-game.


Question 8:
Will you still come on irc and throw peaches at everyone as if there was no tomorrow?

Answer:
Always!!! 😃 Of course, people in spain knows me for that ahahaha!


Question 9:
Hehe, getting back to the actual game though, what's your thought on the failed Argentina AS, where do you think they made a mistake?

Answer:
Well its easy, Georgia is bordered to many powerful countries, so I think to attack a country who is surrounded by powerful countries is sadomasochistic and made argentina vulnerable to receive an NE by one those countries.

Question 10:
But they truly deserved that, for the months of harm they've made to Spain! How do you look at the latest success for Sirius, is it all because of our amazing leadership or is it just pure luck?

Answer:
The success is because of both things, a good leadership and a good dose of luck. 😃 We can’t forget Argentina is a powerful country with many visa players, and stronger players! But when you want one thing, for me the desire to have that thing is more bigger and helps you reach that!
I think that happens to Sirius, when we want a thing we get that thing, sooner or later!

Question 11:
I can't do anything but to agree with you! Last but not least, did the right country win the Fifa World Cup this summer?

Answer:
AHAHAHA, I would have prefered if Portugal won, but that wouldn’t be possible, so better Germany than Argentina!
