Addendum to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs report

Day 2,312, 16:32 Published in Serbia Serbia by Dio Maximus

UPDATE: There is a apparently google translated version of the MoFA report, so feel free to use it. However I do not know who controls the doc or who made it, so I cannot verify it's contents. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Iqu838LP1p3T2lPy7A4PU6VgzRgiNwgAs2bOk59CEqg/edit

I've written that report to further explain the problematics between the Hungary-Romania issiue and NAP problem that happened in the last week, but unfortunately for me some scum from the opposite side are trying to distort the facts and present it in a way solely beneficial to the interest of Poland and their little puppets.

The text is in Cyrillic because it's an official government article (we use cyrrilic for gov articles) and was intended as a detailed report to the Serbian people about the situation regarding our allies Hungary and the Asteria alliance as a whole. The article is consisting out of pictures because I saw Atracurium's government articles and thought they were extremely cool, so I wanted to do something similar. There was no malice intended, as some FYROMians and trolls attempted to present it. I'm completely open to giving any Hungarian with the knowledge of Serbian the article to translate it.

Several issues were raised. I've been accused of accusing (interesting play of words) Hungary that it was all their fault. It wasn't. I've already stated it countless times, and it can be read in Hungarian's goverment articles as well (which are publicly available and in English) that Serbia, Romania and Greece admitted and agreed that the unfortunate NAP between the aforementioned parties and Bulgaria was a mistake and that it should not have happened.

I will cite myself on the issue: ''Нама су у интересу добри односи између ове две земље, јер би се сваки озбиљнији потрес одразио и на Србију јер је и наша заједница пријатељски одређена према ове две земље, те би било какав наметнути избор између њих, довео до потреса и фрактурисања наше, већ подељене заједнице.''
Translation: ''It's in our best interest, good relations between these two countries [Hungary and Romania] because every serious tremor/fracture would cause problems for Serbia as well [internally] because our community is friendly and sympathethic towards these two nations, and every imposed choice between these two countries would cause serious problems to our [Serbian] already fractured and divided community.''

I can't really bother to translate everything, but if there's someone else willing to do it, feel free to do so. Serbia has nothing to hide in that report. Continuing through the article, I wrote about the first NAP that was signed on the initiative of Hungary in february. It was basically the same text, with the major difference of Hungary being included in the NAP, unlike the most recent one. I explained why the first NAP was signed and added comments about why I thought it was beneficial for our side as well, as it freed Romania for offensive actions instead of keeping the Bulgarian RW's down, and also protecting the ''back'' of Serbia and Greece from possible Bulgarian while they were fighting elsewhere.

After that I talk about the initiative of Hungarian goverment in February that was essentially behind the first idea of a NAP between these Asteria countries and Bulgaria. On the first meeting on teamspeak, Hungarian representatives talked about their ongoing discussions with Bulgarian representatives and their initiative to secure congress for Bulgaria. Unfortunately I forgot to mention that it wasn't only HU representatives that were talking about the possibility of Bulgaria attacking Turkey, and I'm not sure from whom that initiative came at first, but I know for sure that Hungarian representatives were involved and had disscussions with Bulgaria and that Ektonosiakos, then SG talked about the possibility of getting Bulgaria to attack Turkey in exchange for some future benefits. Here's some logs to prove my point, unfortunately when these talks were happening they weren't the topic of discussion (I've been trying to get the NE on Hungary voted down) and I didn't get precise, but the pattern is clear.

[13:31:49] I had a feeling that we were making progress and getting somewhere with both the NAP and the recent talks between Asteria and Buglaria. This NE isn't something that is helping that image as well.
[13:34:02] well, we just saw an opportunity to take some resources from ukraine and russia for few days, as HUN will surely lost those lands with fighting PL and CL
[13:34:23] This creates trouble for Asteria and more precisely Hungary in the short term, but in the long run it will create more problems for Bulgaria.
[13:35:07] and in general I dont think we are getting somewhere with the whole talks...Asteria tried to interfer in our foreign policy...

Before this conversation told that the talks were going somewhere, that there were difficulties but that there was some issues that were needed to be adressed first. Which ones, I do not know.

Unfortunately I wasn't involved in those talks directly, and details I know about them are scarce, all I know was what I heard and what was told to me. if someone else who was involved could shed some light more precisely it would be good.

After that I go on to explain how that unfortunate NAP was signed at the first place. It was fail of epic proportions by us, Romania and Greece, not because Laurh was present(but afk) and even then it was signed but because from what I know Bulgaria insisted that Hungary should be excluded from the agreement. It crossed no one's mind that there was a pretty obvious reason for that request. Unfortunately I wasn't present when that took place, and honestly I haven't shown any particular interest in that NAP simply because I wasn't aware of the quick alterations that were made to it, and also because it involves a whole lot of bureaucracy and that's why I generally tend to dislike these kinds of agreements. The NAP was rushed and stupid, it was our fault as well that it was signed.

After that I go on to talk about the events that transpired in the morning the next day. I was completely unaware of the shitstorm that was going to happen and unaware that any NAP was signed. When I went to sleep the most serious problem for us was should we raise a tactical RW in 2:35 or 8 in the morning.

I got a bunch of messages about what was happening and something along the lines ''Hungarians are angry'', but even with those 3 NE's on Hungary and the shitstorm that happened, karaj was pretty calm about it on the alliance IRC room, and I honestly couldn't see the incoming ultimatum to Romania from that talk. Contingency plans were even at that point in the process of making to completely stop and save Hungary from deletion. After a while 3 goverment articles in Hungary were issued regarding the ultimatum and I must say I was not expecting that kind of reaction at all. Personally I always think that everything can be worked out with proper communication. For me it was a rushed decision, just like our stupid NAP was a rushed and bad decision. The ultimatum closed doors for a lot of solutions we might have come up, and closed the doors for solutions Serbia presented later that evening, which was also mentioned in the official Hungarian government articles. For those who don't know, Serbia offered to break the NAP and to NE Bulgaria as soon as we could.

Hungary was facing three NE's, and without doubt Poland, Chile and Bulgaria were in fact working together. Bulgaria being a little more oportunistic then Chile and Poland but still trying to get a piece of the Ukraine for themselves. As you might have seen, they already made an agreement with Ukraine about the bonuses.

[13:39:32] just catch the opportunity to have some resources and to help our best friends Chile

However, all that is behind us right now. Agreements were made and there is progress, as you all can see Hungary stopped the Polish invaders at the gates of Budapest, and everyone with hard work saved Hungary from the wipe that was probably intended for at the first place Serbia. As i explained in the article, it was done with extensive efforts of Colonel Bruce, president of Slovenia. He holds both interests of Serbia, Hungary and all countries of Asteria at heart. Probably the best person to protect us from ourselves. All agreements were done with his aid. I cannot express how important it was for us to have him on board.

Serbia and Hungary share a history which cannot be easily broken. Serbia holds best interests of Hungary at heart. I've been playing this game since Маy 28, 2009 and my first beginings were in Hungary and Indonesia, because Serbia was under a Croatian PTO aimed at killing new players, so our gov sent us to friendly countires to get stronger and to keep us alive. Hungary with the help of PEACE tanks saved Serbia and liberated it back in those earliest days. My first memories of this game are interwined with eHungary. Every time when i was MoFA or MoD the first contacts that were established were Hungarian ones. I know many from the oposite side like to make fun of our friendship, trolling effortlesly and generally being huge cu+ts. Just don't be fooled by it, both Serbia and Hungary. This war is also a propaganda war. For instance, i've seen malicious comments in Serbian media, from trolls who know Serbian (half of balkans does actually) that Hungary is making deals with the oposite side, but in Hungary, these comments (from the same people lol) tell that Serbia has betrayed Hungary.

Serbia will be there for Hungary always. I've already told Nalaja once, that Serbian population has great respect and feeling of brotherhood for Hungary. Nothing can change that. Serbia and Hungary are one thing in this game. It cannot be broken so easily.

Now we should focus on protecting our third bro Slovenia, at all cost.

Your's truly,
