A Coalition of ACP KHMC and PTO'd APP?

Really, I hope the 'big announcement' is something with more grounding in reality than the official announcement that the three parties who have been undermining eAus are finally coming out of the closet.

After all the denial that his has been going on you're going to try and score political points? Really?
After all the lies and deceptions of your members and the meaningless propaganda in the press? After this failed CP term you are going to try and convince the people of eAus that you actually know what you are doing?
Creating new parties to simply join this Coalition and bolster the numbers, granted is an expensive move but hardly one bound to succeed.
Proof is in the pudding.
Seems to me that this is just another attempt to undermine new players and try and secure power in your grasp. Unfortunately new players know better than to buy into it. They seek to make a difference and only a few parties offer them this chance, those few will not be aligned with each other nor will they join this Coalition.
As a ARP member this entire concept amuses me, as a veteran eAus player it actually quite disgusts me. Not enough for me to openly get back into politics and squash this nonsense, but enough to make sure I continue to help new players in this game.
Anyone reading the press recently has seen the impact that one new player can have. Vyrin, who was told by these people that he could not change anything.... yet took it upon himself to keep the ACP from the top 5 and was quite successful.
ARP breeds strength and power to stand against political lies and manipulations.
In a sense it was his actions that lead to the foundation of this co-olition. One player, one new player and these elites have no choice but to join forces. It reeks of eUSA politics and we all know their present situation, begging for donations, betraying allies.
If you think this charade is focused on anything other than their own power you're delusional.

There aren't two factions, there are about 5. There is this rumoured 'coalition' , then there is the ANP faction, the ARP faction and the GGP faction. Trying to claim that the ANP/ARP/GGP have an alliance is just silly.

ANP has never been in a coalition, they have even ignored ATO action in the past. Do you really think they would suddenly change what they are doing now? GGP and ARP have no reason to join together. Both parties are separate entities. If the three did combine, active numbers alone would lay waste to a KHMC/ACP/APP coalition. (at least for the next month or so)
ANP hasn't been in a coalition because it hasn't done sht. One or two players have been the party since the end of the SC administration.
As for allied support however love your spin babe but the record is clear from the last CP election going off party numbers at that time and on policy differences the ARP/GGP/ANP are asynchronous but yet largely uniform en bloc.
Actually, at one stage in 2009 the ANP was VERY CLOSE to being in a coalition. The original True Blue Party (created by Corny Ratbag) had discussions with the ANP about a coalition to counter-act the ADSP/ACP left-wing coalition.
Essentially it failed as the factions in the TBP (Centre-Left and Centre-Right) couldn't agree, then after Corny left it was downhill from there.
Last month there was a small amount of room to argue against the game mechanical appointment of Ronny as president after the previous elected president got banned/resigned/whatever happened there. The APP has since had an election along with all other parties on the 15th and a leader was elected democratically. There was nothing stopping ex-APP members who later decided to jump shit to the ARP of their own accord from asking for ARP and GGP support to reclaim the party. Their choice. That's not a PTO. That's bad luck.
must admit I expected APP to at least try and get their party back. Doesn't change the facts behind how they lost the party in the first place. I personally would have just renamed the APP by now.
I'm sure it's being discussed. The APP brand had it's day and like most identities it went the way of the dodo. Time for new shiny things.

?? I replied to that when TJ mentioned it. APP only have themselves to blame now since I know the only one who spoke to us about helping take the party back was Vyrin and not any former APP member. I also said they should probably change name. But it doesn't change how Ronny gained possession of the party or Tim's involvement in what happened. Unless you really want to clean slate everyone each month?
i dont see why they should change the name..unless they want to i myself dont particularly care fo rit hah but to each their own....im not going to bother on Tim's involvement since i find it miniscule at best....yeah your right game mechanics (not some evil scheme like a PTO) caused him to be PP...and this last election in my opinion legitimized his last month if he didn't somewhat run the party well then he simply wouldnt have won...common sense

ANP doesn't believe in joining a single coalition because it deprives the voters of choice. Without choice we have nothing.
Isn't "single coalition" a double negative or sorts given our circumstances? There's only (really) two groups currently. I said 'really' unless you want to count Icetek's bunch then .. well. People have the choice of one or the other .. or again - Icetek's party. I'm having difficulty bringing up Icetek with a straight face.
ANP and ARP have nothing to do with each other at all. You are trying to make false connections where there simply aren't any
January 2013: ANP, ARP and GGP supported Xavier Griffith for Prime Minister, either through in-game mechanical endorsement or through associative endorsement.
January 2013: ARP by written verification of former PP Mickskitz and as acknowledged on point by various players including yourself, supported an effort to secure GGP's position for congressional elections. While ANP played no direct role in that movement, it provided the ANP with a generous political advantage as the beneficiary of the electoral fracture.
February 2013: ANP, ARP and GGP supported Mr Crumpets for Prime Minister, as per same.
