Why didn't you include any numbers related to tax income, expenses or the monthly budget?

I am not in congress, so those figure especially on the spending side i am not privy too, still this new update now shows clearly what advantages / disadvantages employers have with the current tax policy. we were able to sustain a 1% tax at some points during my e life. with this update it instantly does the math for everyone, why not re explore that

You don't need to be in Congress to view the budget, it is available to the public.

Also 1% is not comming for awile more likely 3% the tax is not an income output calculation its more of a redistribution of wealth for lower level players to compete with higher level players. i understand you used to have 1% work tax but that was mostly due to higher population more people feeding the pot means you can lower the tax to get the same amount that comes in with less people at 3%... hope this helps fix your perspective... if you want 1% tax go out and start a baby boom and encourage them to make more factorys or help them.

my argument is this, with this new update it clearly shows what take home pay is, currently the job market shows what take home pay is. where that should matter to you is in reference to the income tax money. Eus loses potential work tax money to foreign lands cause of our tax policy. We gain from other countries based on market conditions and thats just too big a variable to discuss. the in game treasury is at over 2 million, meaning at the current pace congress is donating to the CBO it will take 6 days to extract, that does not include the money still funneling in. There is an argument to be made in the name of national security that a 1% tax is warranted, not only so the money can be extracted and not left in the open, but also to compliment the employers of the eus who help fill the coffers even if its a sliver compared to WAM income. However if promoted right that work tax sliver could grow a bit by allowing Eus workers to work for and pay taxes to eus, currently if an eus person is an employee for a foreign citizenship employer, the taxes gained go towards their country , not eus. would income drop yes, i do not dispute that. but there is a potential gain for that income line . Especially based on the new update which now shows in black and white what the real take home pay is, which currently is proud america. but it also means employees that click that person pay taxes to Eus.

You're not making any sense, give me hard numbers that show 1% is sustainable, then we can talk. You have no idea what the budget looks like and have offered nothing more than conjecture.

it is sustainable for 6 days till the rate goes back up to 2% that still leaves some cash in game, and as far as the 400k transfers. its almost impossible to nail it at 24 hours. so lowering it for the new update is financially doable, at 1% at current collections there would be about 700k in the countries account conservatively and enough time to climb it back up to 2% to keep things flowing.

Frag - where is the competition for salaries not good enough? Also - you need to think about the military module as well. 1% depletes our funds. We do not grow and do not have enough money for programs like AARP or Warthog without at least being at 2%. Let alone a war. Which will cost much more.

We need to look at the overall picture, and not just at the economic module. 2% - 3% are the perfect balance to ensure we make everyone - economic and military happy. Anything less is too little, any thing more is too much (and only should be done during WAR time.)

I understand your position, but if you do the math, the coffers will be empty, and the 1% will last 6 days, and then what? move back up to 3%? We need to replenish the coffers. Enjoy the 2% now, because if you move to 1% the time frame will be much less.

Over all i am pushing for 3% tax permanently untill our population grows once it dose we will be able to afford a 1% tax i will also be pushing something into code for freely distributing our excess taxes into maybe a factory program to improve our production and further increase our treasury intake. this will also give the option to lower the work tax. i hope this helps fix our shortages.

actually what would be nice is if you can set different rates for wam, and for the work click, like keep wam at 2% and have the general employee/employer work click at 1% that would make everyone happy. government still gets their funding from wam, employers can compete for employees. with that rate marrying the two mechanics. it would be the best divorce ever

You are wrong because you never consider other factors open your mind. what if there is a baby boom and they arent into the factory Mod? they are gona stay here and work. what if someone gets fed up with the tyranny and dosent care about tax? i have moved from a lousy job charging me 1% tax to a GREAT paying job at 3% tax plus there were other benefits like gov programs to of set any loss i may have incurred and even gave me more than the last job.

- Foreign Producers will be once again building companies in eUS
- It is easier to compete on the job market, which results in higher VAT income

1% doesn't provide enough income to sustain CBO donations. If you disagree propose a plan where it works and post it in Public Congress

Have you even done the math for companies?
At current salary you can hardly cover the costs to hire workers. Even if you use your own salary it is hard to have at least a little bit of income.

We do not have enough population to sustain ourselves @1%. If someone believes that we will magically suddenly generate more work, workers and hence income, have at it; make you case, prove your theory but be prepared to post real numbers and something that makes sense because Congress has discussed this in great detail for many months and based on everything that we know 1% is not sustainable and even 2% on a long term basis is not enough to build the level of reserves we would ideally like.

We can easily "sustain ourselves" at 1%, like we did for months.

The question here is: Do we need such large reserves? 2% atm. means a Tax income of >300k a day. That's 9kk per month or 109,5kk per year. I guess that only 1 Million of it is actually spent per month, so a surplus of 97.5kk per year.

For what do you need so much money? Do you want to declare war on Romania, Serbia and Colin Lantrip all at once?

With 1% Work Tax, we should be somewhere around 170k per day. Add a little growth into the mix and we have 200k per day. That's 73kk per year and 61kk after the expenses. Enough to to Airstrike Croatia 3 times.
