Hey there,
Since it's pretty self evident that I've totally and completely lost the party presidential election with just under 90% of the votes... wait. Anyway, yeah, this is my first article of the month.

The reason I couldn't get a useless propaganda-like article promoting my run for party president was because of "CSRF ATTACK LOL NUKE THE BASTARD" redirects every time I tried clicking 'publish article'. I'm calling out the pre-emptive problem for this article as well.

To explain why I'm party president in waiting...
We needed a candidate in this current time of an apparent PTO threat, regardless of whether it's real or not. We did not have a candidate this month, and I had been up as candidate for a week as, like my congress run, a placeholder. But nevertheless, I'll do my best for the party.

(running as a placeholder candidate with the intention of not being elected has been thwarted twice, to the point where it's amusing)

Congress Elections

I encourage all members of the party to get involved with the elections this month. As with my usual policy from past terms on the party top spot, candidate placement will be judged based on activity and involvement. I can already hear Lionbeard telling me I'm a hypocrite but yeah.

To summarise,
In order to get higher placement on the official candidate list you must either:
1. Be active;
2. Be involved in the party; or
3. Be involved in government

If you're wanting to run for congress under the UKRP banner as a member, then either send me over a personal message or send a reply on this thread on the UKRP forums.

With regards to other parties wanting to run under the UKRP.

Send me over a personal message with some sort of intention. I can't personally allow anything certain without the consent of the party membership, however, as would normally be the case.

Edit: With the recent revelation that potentially two top 6 parties have been taken over, we will be following whatever ATO effort there is for congress.

Country Presidential election

Similar to the above, I'm setting up a means of supporting UKRP candidates for president prior to the election so that members of the party can help prepare a candidate for the election. Although, it is nice to get an idea in advance if anyone in the party would actually like to run.

If you do intend to run for country president under the UKRP banner, then send me over a PM or reply in this topic.

I will not be featuring presidential candidates on our party poll at the end of the month if they don't bother to contact us for support. It's up to the candidate to do that.

We have our own little community on the official UK forums, where we discuss things in private away from the curious eyes of everyone else. If you'd like to join up, then follow the below:

Anyway, that's the basic summary of the party procedure's this month, and hopefully we'll have a great month in a time of political turmoil within our borders.
