[UKPP] vPP End of term

Day 2,460, 09:31 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by 6times5is30

A month has come around since I was appointed vPP of the UKPP, so here's a quick summary of what's happened.

Over the last month I've been the UKPP's Vice-President and for about half of that term a congress member as well. There's been nothing too revolutionary going on over the last month, so this article will probably be fairly short.

Rough summary of events
Appointment
I was made vPP by our current president, Reginald Marrowbum as I was the second placed candidate in the internal pre-election ballot.

Discussion
Over the course of the month I've been in on the majority of PM's within the party, aiding with the discussion as it happened. This term we looked to keep the party stable as many others were undergoing significant changes, and to help in the ATO effort which we did.

Congress
I went for congress as it's generally frowned upon for the PP to do so, and over the first few weeks of that have been engaging with the discussion in the congress PMs. As a party we've tried (and failed thus far) to explain the benefit of a work tax cut, and I personally have been keeping track of the way I have voted to be published in an article at the end of the congress term.

All round it's been a good term, without any nasty surprises. I'm not running again as i'm on holiday for the first week of september, but wish Robert V and his vPP the best of luck building on our work.
