The Unity Party: In Defense of our Allies.
My Friends,
There have been two conflicting views of the dictatorship on display in the media thus far.
Some see it as a sort of benign force, not much different to democracy but relatively harmless. UKSF has certainly tried to portray his rule like this so far.
And there are those, like me, that from the start has seen it for what it is: an insidious tyranny far more interested in self gratification and lulz than the effective and prosperous running of the country.
Today the junta has shown its true colours by deciding to perform an air strike on an allied country.
eIsrael has a proud history in the game and currently finds itself a member of the Orion alliance; good friends with us and our allies in Asteria. We have fought with them; they with us, and this junta wants to throw all that away.
This is wrong. It's unjust. It's also unlikely to succeed.
The eUK is not a powerful nation militarily; indeed one whale and his visa can outdamage us. To succeed we need a mature foreign policy, to foster friendship and consensus. This is something the democratic eUK is very good at; in the past we've been described as a diplomatic superpower!
Sadly, this odious little gang of tyrants have decided to ignore all that and do what they like. Well, I and those that think alike refuse to go along for the ride. I'll be persuading anyone that will listen to refuse to support this action, and defend the allies of the eUK.
And so I pledge to resist the forces of tyranny in the eUK. I can't fight as hard on the battlefield and I don't have the rl cash to compete with the white whale, but I can use my voice to build consensus, and persuade our citizens that the actions of the dictatorship are wrong.
So please, stand with me and fight for UK democracy, and defend our allies from this ridiculous attack!

The one advantage of a hostile Dictatorship which has no public support is that the Dictator is not representative of anything other than himself.
If as it appears this is not a TW and is a hostile act against an ally, then eUK citizens should not be supporting a hostile Dictator, but should be supporting our allies. I shall be watching the battles to see where our allies are fighting and on whose side eUK citizens are fighting.

Yeah, good point. When visiting here it was mentioned by more than one that Orion was a crappy alliance that was more interested in "fun" more than serious matters. I believe it was WK who was one of the few, if not indeed the only, who spoke up to say that Orion was playing the way they wanted, to have fun not build some Megalomaniacal organization. I forget the exact words.
Now suddenly we are good allies. Well, members of Orion do consider the UK on our list of friendly or at least benign countries. Be grandiose if it makes you feel better.

Please don't equat a burning dislike for Onion as a dislike for individual members. Apart from the Netherlands, Cuba and Estonia, the rest of you are sound and we have no ill will towards.
