ATTENTION TUP MEMBERS

The congressional elections are quickly approaching and I want to put the call out for any motivated and ACTIVE members to sign up.

What Does It Take To Be A Successful Congressmember?

All it really takes is a half-decent knowledge of the current political situation (even that isn’t a must, more of a nice perk) and activity. Seriously, if you’re not active in the game or at least want to be active and are making an effort, you’re basically useless in congress.

But, but, but…

NO BUTS! I don’t care if your excuse is something like “This game isn’t fun!” or “You’re a filthy PTO send from that handsome group DC to ruin our party”, not doing anything is the worst thing you can do. How do you make this game fun? You set a goal, you achieve it. Rinse and repeat.

Also, if you do anything other than PM me your desire to be in congress, I won’t get it. Some members of the party view me as ‘less than legitimate’ and have been asking you to join and post on the TUP forums and I encourage anyone to join but if you post there about your interest I will not see it as I’ve been denied access by players who no longer play and VoodooMike (the only active TUP forum mod).

So there it is folks, that’s all I really have to say. Wait? I’ve just been handed a blessing on the party by our resident Messiah:

One last thing, the TUP CUP communication network has been a resounding success so far, I’ve had so many offers for assistance that I’ve had to turn some people away. Be on the lookout for the first messages to start heading your way in the coming day or so.
