The following is an interview with all five newly elected top five Party Presidents. I asked them the same four questions and they responded separately.

The four questions are

1. What does your party plan on doing this term under your leadership?
2. How does your party make eCanada a better place?
3. If you could change one thing about another party what would it be?
4. What are eCanada's most pressing problems and what can your party do to address them?

The following are their answers

Canadian Progressive Front Party President Dozzer

1. Under my leadership, I plan to fight to keep the CPF on its deserved spot as premier party of Canada. We need to show the people of Canada that another kind of politics can be done, one that ignores trolling and hatred and strives for cooperation with all responsible forces of Canada. As party policy, we do not intend to cooperate with any specific party, but cooperate with players individually, players that are proven to be responsible, loyal to Canada and very good at what they do. There are good people in all Canadian parties, even the extraparliamentary ones. There are also good people who are not politically involved. In my opinion, all these experts shall be gathered together to cooperate for the common good of our nation.

I also intend to bring back the Tenets of the CPF, but under a new form. I think that the situation in Canada is very different from what it was when the Tenets were written, and I think that what we need now is to set forth three, four principles upon which we will never negotiate or compromise. They will be the principles that will define our party and its meaning.

2. The Canadian Progressive Front has always provided the government with competent people who have been loyal and dedicated to Canada. Our leadership may have done mistakes in the past (including myself), but we've always fought to correct those mistakes and never make them again.

3. I don't have a problem with any other party, but I wish that no party in the future would try to steal members from another party by using subversive measures.

4. In this moment, Canada's most pressing problem is her lack of unity. It was always in our character to demonise 'the other side', to troll..or to insult. I think that we must strive to avoid these tactics, and try to get some common points on which we can work united, as a single nation. It may sound a little bit fascist to some, but for this country to be powerful, it must be united like a single mind. Sure, there are differences between our ideas on how to make Canada better, but we must always try to resolve those differences through dialogue, or to set them aside if they are not relevant to the common good of Canada. We all must act as individuals, but we always need to remember that each of us is part of something greater, that something being the nation of which we have citizenship, the nation we all fight for to keep her territorial integrity intact. Because if the country prospers, economically and socially, so does each of us. So it's quite in each individual's interest to act in a collective way. These are the principles upon which the CPF is being built, and this is why I think that our party can fit most Canadians.

Our strong belief in a free market and the right of each individual to make a decision may be a deterrent for some that prevents them from joining our party. A lot of people think that cooperative and collectivist ways of organising the economy are better than the free market. We also believe in cooperation. But at the same time we believe that it's the right of each individual to decide if they want to cooperate with the rest of Canadians, or act on their own. Even the socialists do operate their collective within the framework of a free market. So, I'd argue that there's no doubt that this free market works best for us.

Low taxation, limited government spending, unity of Canadians and cooperation with all regardless of their political colour are the principles we build the CPF upon. It is up to the rest of Canadians to decide whether our policies work to resolve the problems of Canada or not. But, for now, they do seem to work pretty damn well.

United Front Party President yst31

1. Continue growing and we have to increase our turnout in some way,so probably I'll make some type of control to know who are the active members, who not,so we can really know how many active members we have and try to find something to make our members more involved in the political structure of our country.

2. We are the only left party in Canada, although the difference between left and right in erep is really small, and I think we propose a more social view of our country. Also,I want to believe that we are like the voice of the Canadian conscience as we don't use to agree with other parties ideas, without a previous debate, just because we are friends or allies.

3. I think it would be cool if three or four parties had like the same number of members,in that way the CP elections would be more interesting and the political debates would have different opinions as well as a more diversified options to choose.

4. Short-term problems:War with the UK.Long-term problems....I read it in one of the The Smoke articles I think,he said that the political organization in Canada can be oligarchic and elitist but that doesn't matter if Canada can take advantage of that situation and I think that actually Canada do not deserve that, even the worse democracy is better than the best oligarchic or dictatorial system. We need to give our citizens multiple choices so they can decide and also give them the possibility to express their own point of view without any pressure or censure.I think that's the goal we want to achieve in the UF as well,we want to create a better and democratic society and give our members a voice in the political sphere while they help us in our effort just being a member of our "front".

Military Dictatorship Party President Leo Balzac

1.The same thing we do every night Pinky

2. By providing a unique voice to the eCanadian political scene.

3. I would put the 'n' back into nCPF

4. The invasion of our lands. We can address these problems by attracting active foreign assets as well as promoting unified military action throughout our community; either with the carrot or the stick.

Parti Francophone Canadien Party President Quentin Carlson

1. Be transparent and promote french in eCanada with a totaly french party.

2. We welcome all french players to join our party and have fun playing the game of erepublik

3. The CFP who take one of our member because he wanted to join a new MU... well ok. btw this guy is totaly french from Quebec!

4. Canada need to continue the culture of medals!! I love gold

Imperial Wolves Party President Punisher 1389

1. First of all, i'm gonna ty to consolidate the party under my leadership, we are quite shaken up by the recent events which resulted in a relatively big membership loss. I'm going to try to revise our manifest, add some new ideas, and implement them in the near future. Hopefully, if we manage to do it successfully, we shall increase our membership by the end of my term. It's going to be a process where i plan to include all active membership in order to achieve that goal.
Also one of the biggest problems in our party is activity, and I plan to address this issue as well.

2. Well, in my opinion, Imperial Wolves are a party that offer an alternative, and something different, comparing to other parties from the top 5. We are the party with a very specific authoritarian orientation, which has some elements of democracy. It cannot be defined and it kind of sounds unordinary, but this is just a game and we find this concept interesting.
I have always believed in a political system with a wide variety of different ideas. Every party has their ideology and a unique view on eCan politics and so do we. We were always open for cooperation with other parties, even if it meant to put our differences aside, in order to work together and bring prosperity to our glorious nation. So we're a small, but very important part of eCanada.

3. It's really not up to me to say what has to be changed in other parties, because like i said before, every party is unique and has its own grasp of eCan politics. However, there are things that some people do, which i'd like to see changed. I understand the concept of politics, and I know that we are political opponents, but that's not the reason to do such things and hit each other under the belt. Bringing the RL into the game, threats, are just a tool for certain people to achieve their demented goals. I'd like to see that changed, because after all, our mutual goal is the betterment of this country.

I'm not insisting on us getting along all the time because i know that's impossible, but i'm just saying that parties and the people shouldn't resort to such desperate measures, they should keep the fights clean.

4. I believe that at this point, one of the most pressing problems in eCan is miscommunication, and lack of communication between the parties. We're at war,and any strife between the parties can not just reflect bad upon us, but we could get wiped,we could lose our international reputation, and destroy everything we've built in the past few months. In the times like these we have to show that we're ready to support and cooperate with each other,so me and my party will be always ready to help.
