{RSU} CP Election update EDITED
Revolutionary Socialist Union
Hello eAustralia,
Hello to all our dear readers and members. This is the first of the 3 CP Election Day updates. Proudly presented by the RSU.
A lot of you would of received this message from the RSU Vice President:
Sorry if you didn't want to be 'Spammed' by this, but we at the RSU would love to see a very large voter turn out, no matter who they vote for (okay okay, voting for the RSU would be great as well
😛).
We at the RSU believe that, getting people active again in the election process is a small step in the way of bringing back the activity to eAustralia.
So get out there and VOTE
At eRep time of 05.03, the voting was showing:
As you can see after only 5hrs, eAustralia has had 40 voters come out and cast their vote. This number is more then half of last 2 terms voting (December had a turn out of 82 votes). So here at the RSU, we are hoping to see an increase in votes.
At eRep time of 17.50hrs, the voting was showing:
As you can see we have already reached last terms voter turn out. While it is to early to tell if we will pass that number (might be people logging in at different times), I am confident we will get between 80-90 votes.
To see the difference in voting, I pulled these screenshots from a third party site:
Compared to last term: (please use the link below to compare to all previous months)
Fingers crossed we continue with this voter turn out and have a high number of votes cast.
Current voting as of eRep time of 23.56hrs, the voting was showing:
We have reached the 80 votes, but I personally would of been delighted in seeing upwards of 90+ votes. However it is a small step in reviving the activity levels of past and hopefully as the year progress, we can try and get more 2 clickers coming out of the cold.

Comments
Unsure why it shows me as being nominated by the ARP and supported by the RSU, but I am happy to have the ARP backing me as well.
pffft
game mechanics, the larger party goes up on CP election days.

From the message:
"We have always had a low voter turn out (compared to 'registered' uses)"
Now the question:
How much is the voting activity today compared to previous CP election days based on as you say 'registered' uses.
It might shows that activity is lower now comparing last month if registered players were 380 for example.
the people have spoken
Percentage wise you mean?
Percentage to the registered citizens, yes.
All done without free beer.
Amazing!
