[PMG] The heck is PMG supposed to mean?
Randall Flagg 1999
After some thought and discussion with the three leading contenders for the presidency of eCanada (sorry Punisher) I have decided to start a new project designed to serve the government of eCanada.
This project is the establishment of a new MU which will be under the direct orders of the executive branch of our government. This "Prime Minister's Guard" will be in place to effect the will of the CP of eCanada on the battlefield.
This MU will be small in size as to increase efficency, but will be designed to be able to pack enough of a punch as to be able to have some presence on the field. This gives our CP a bonus in foreign affairs by means of lending official support through the use of this unit.
I feel you all deserve a few details...
1) The CP does NOT have to be a member of this unit. The unit follows their orders via daily communication between myself and the CP.
2) What is this going to cost me, the taxpayer? Nothing, I have enough infrastructure to maintain 20-25 members without costing eCanada a dime.
3) What are the benefits if I want to join? 100Q6 weapons per week (14ish a day) for starters, with plans to implement some contests and other programs along the way
4) Okay fine, it is a fairly neat idea, but seriously, what is the point? You can ask this question about any part of this game, or frankly, this game itself. The point is something fun to do that will help add another layer of imersion to this game.
There will be more details to come about when I will start this, but as of now, the three leading candidates have all expressed support for this idea. For now, I leave you with a pretty banner and the three principles I hope this unit will embrace.
Servitium - Service
Dedicatio - Dedication
Honor - Honour

so why is this any different then all the other MU's? Every MU should be having direct pm with the CP for orders....
The CP should be in command of a MU so they can do the orders themselves.
In theory every MU should be following the orders to a T, yes. But the reality is that this does not always happen. The point here simply to have one MU that the CP can direct as needed, and perhaps send to different battlefields than other MU's as the situation permits.
Hopefully this will allow the CP a bit more flexibility in picking battles.
what happens when a CP comes around that you do not like?
Does not matter, the MU will serve the title, not the person
huh, well how about that. Not to shabby of an idea. it'll take time to gain traction. Gl RF, COI is still my lover.
I love CoI too much 😛
That being said, the CP should be commander so he/she can issue CO's for important battles. Many countries have already adopted this method
Noted, but that will be taken care of when we get there
What happened to the CAF?
Oh it's around 😛 This is meant to be separate from them
Wanna buy Medical Corps for 5 gold?
😮
😮 😮
Very interesting idea
What we need is a national MU. When I make my CP run, this will be complete 😉
I am not against a national MU, but this is not a national MU
Praetorian Guards
Prime Minister Guards
Royal Canadian Mouth Guards (and other dental supplies)
"Oh Canada, we stand on Guards for thee!"
So many new and former Military Units to keep track of today!
What can I say, I like keeping people on their teeth, I mean toes.....
