[PeruAustralia] Reflection on Recent Events.

Day 2,678, 14:47 Published in Australia Australia by Saiwun

Hello eAustralia, Nebula, and Peru...

And you will have seen, there is a lot of hatred toward the Peruvian community in the Australia media regarding a recent Spanish AS. Firstly, I would like to apologise for any offence it may cause, and try and sort out some of the dilemmas it has caused.

A bit of history:

2 months ago, Peru took southern Australia regions to prevent Bulgaria for occupying the whole nation. The two powers then went to war and Peru successfully removed them from Oceania and prevented them from helping Chile against Asterian forces.
This was not an act of aggression but was mutual benefit to all parties (except Bulgaria and Chile XD).

Peru then released enough regions for congress, but kept extra ones to protect against hostile airstrikes.

Fast forward to when Plato introduced the dictatorship module. Once I saw that XenthuS' coup would succeed, I personally asked Peru to NE us and wipe us to prevent CS requests being approved. In my opinion, it was the right thing to do, and did not ask for taxes to be returned, because Peru were doing us a favour and protecting us. If any Australians have a problem with Peru taking Australian taxes, please contact me and I will be able to subsidise the authorities you see fit.

Now we move on to Spain. Hitman MTOed eSpain and imposed a tyrannic rule upon the nation. Yes he may be real life Peruvian, but he does not play for them. He fights for his own agenda, and is a know enemy of Asteria and Pro-Asteria forces.
He was the one putting COs up for the Australian RWs, not Peru, he was the one behind the AS, not Peru. His relationship with XenthuS was a leading factor in the assault.

In my opinion, the reason for this dilemma was miscommunication between Peru, Australia, and some governments of other allied countries. This is not a betrayal by Peru, just external parties playing us off against each other. As long as we are dictated, we shall be in the crossfire of conflicting interests by third parties.
Yes, the Peruvian MoFA may have been shouting for Spain, but one shout doesn't define a nation. These past days were rife with confusion and lack of coordination. We need to sort out what happened and rebuild bridges, after all, Peru are a long and loyal friend!

Only time and an unbiased, non predetermined approach shall give us a solution to our problems. I hope open communication and collaboration shall help us build on a stronger relationship and sort out this misunderstanding!

Thanks everybody.
