[NGP] The Green Spotlight VIII Yanisin

Day 2,911, 18:33 Published in Norway Denmark by Joshua Morriseau

Were back with the 8th edition of The Green Spotlight series! Its an interview series to give members of the NGP a chance to introduce themselves to the rest of Norway. This issue was done with my good friend Yanisin!

Why I chose eNorway: Both my RL citizenship, but also to be honest: Where in this game are we allowed to do as the eNorwegians do other than in eNorway? Where else do we have a dictator cheering diversity while pointing a finger to Plato?Where else do we find our self in this game? Maybe everywhere. I thought it was only one country in the world that allowed us to be eNorwegians but what do I know?

My favorite film & or book: The Straight Story

If I could have one superpower it would be: Stop evil once and for all

If I could travel to any place Ive never been to before I would travel to: It could have been funny just for the sake of it being a four year old with his finger up his nose asking Adam and Eve why they have a navel.

My favorite experience from being in eNorway: Waking up to another day whilst shaking my head wondering why on earth they haven't throwed me out yet

My favorite thing to do when not playing eRepublik: to be alive

Why I chose the NGP: I do believe that good draws to it the good. I wasn't planning to join a party just because I thought you guys were doing excellent without me. Then I saw you were in some stormy waters Joshua with attacks towards your integrity and personality for a sake of short-sighted win by another party and I couldn't accept that so I wrote to you and here I were.

I am not a politician in the normal understanding of that word. That is why I also have been telling you that I am not a guy that should have a position. I don't need a position to be able to express my meanings and beliefs.

My reason for joining has everything to do with you Joshua. I have the highest and deepest respect for your personality and values, and I like to stand up for what I believe in when I see a threat.

I am asking you all, in full honesty: Tell me truthfully where I can find a party even vagely with the same values as in Joshua's NGP? My answer is nowhere else.

Tell me where else would I be allowed to be the one I am, without restrictions and with respect for my integrity?

I have no idea. Perhaps at John's party, as I do have the highest respect for him and his values but probably no where else. I haven't either been bothered looking to be honest.

I am in NGP, and that is all that I need.

What being Green means to me: Being green is a concept. It's a dream, a future, a past, a state of mind, an urge to be different, a desire to be accepted. To be green to me means acceptance for diversity, not so much respect for equality.

I mean when you are a green apple waking up after a long nights sleep in a basket full of red apples, what do you do?

Do you spend your applelife secretely condemning those red bastards, asks them to help you peel off all the green to be as equal as possible, secretly just another night take that step you've been dreaming of, jumps out of the basket and rolls on? The choices are many.

Being green is to accept you are not (insert color). Take a look around you in the world. What do you see? What is the color of life? What is the difference between that leaf blowing in the wind versus that leaf hanging on a tree? It is the color, isn't it? It is the time gone by, versus the time meant to be and all in between.

Being green is to be the leaf respecting it's old used up buddy-leaf blowing, tumbling in the wind. God only knows what his struggles has been the way he looks by now. Being green is a wave of good bye to that poor buddy, knowing that even if you only once in your life are able to feel the wind touching your more delicate and private lower-leaf-parts - at least knows that then you have been alive.

In a game like eRepublik it really starts getting interesting when it comes to being green or not. Here we can play. Game equals right to play. Haha and such you know ...

I find it equally funny and frightening how serious those other colors think they need to be to get accepted.

Personally, I am green. I can't change that. Paint me all you ever want and do to me whatever you want. I know that my core is green whatever happens.

This is what being green means to me.
