3 wars going on, and now a hostile coup. Sums up a normal month for us crazies 😛

Pretty much this. Colin Lantrip has decided basically to try and kick Rylde out of the game entirely by destroying eCanada. The coup is clearly intended as a way to govern the conquered country - a dictator keeps power even if wiped, and can impose 25% WT on the conquered. Combine with a little while of keeping RWs from working (so there's no territory from which the dictator can be overthrown from) and you have scorched Earth.

Colin Lantrip plays this game for his own ego. You don't have to be good at a game if you can use RL money. It has nothing to do with Rylde and everything to do with Colin. I have no idea how it soothes your own conscience to somehow blame with Rylde for what is happening. I don 't blame you guys for sleeping with Colin. Again, it is all about him and not about anyone else.

I'm not blaming Rylde for this. I'm just suggesting that that's the motive. Either way, the coup has to be defeated.

I have no role in this and was not ever aware of it until I woke up abt 2 hrs ago. I think electing Rylde is a foolish decision that will make ending our war unlikely, but Canadian politics is your business. I have my own shit to worry about.

I don't mind if the guy wins and I don't mind if my ppl help him, but I haven't spent a single cc on it.. and I don't plan to. It's just not that important to me..

Colin, I think you're an okay guy, but I also think you've been fed misleading information in order to keep your wallet open. Ireland and Canada problems go back before Rylde was dictator when Ireland threw a hissy fit because we didn't block Slovenia for them and we didn't attack the region they wanted (which we didn't even have a border for, because the Irish gov't didn't even know how their borders worked).

If you had of let it go after we made peace, Rylde probably would have sunk into obscurity for a couple months. However, your AS and the Irish bragging about it has now even turned the staunchest Irish allies here against them. You may have even handed Rylde the CP election.

Colin, I know you have a lot of money and for some reason spend it on this game to have power, but you should know that Canada is probably the most stubborn country in the game. When we get united behind something, we go for broke. I hope you're in for the long haul, because if there is one thing Canada is good at it's fighting on simply in spite.

I got involved with Ireland because Rylde set co's against the US. I left the war as soon as Rylde was removed.

The AS from Albania is just because Albania needs a home. I never would have thought of invading Canada if not for the first series of events. We actually tried to negotiate two other places first.. it just didn't happen and given my and Albania's history with Canada.. here we are.

As a couple there were aware, there was no intention to try and hold you down or actually damage the community. You do that plenty yourselves..

I would have been happy to get a few regions for a bit and leave you the hell alone.
