[MoFA] Summer time ♫

Hey guys,


First of all, my sincere apologies for not having published before. I have been extremely busy these days but I managed not to stop working for the country. So, let’s start!


As every month I have been in charge, we sent a private message to nearly all countries in eRepublik informing about our cabinet, channels, etc. We received several replies and we thanked foreign representatives for their attention.

Italy

We would like to take advantage from this presentation of cabinets in order to wish Italy best of luck as trial member of Aurora! We are happy they are with us after all this time of making relations closer.

New faces in the team and Ambassadors


As our CP already informed in one of his articles, more people are involved in the Foreign Affairs team. Kordak is the new Co-MoFA: he has been MoFA two times in his original country, as well as CP. Welcome on board!

Pierre Dzoncy is also part of our incredible team: he has been MoFA in Poland and several times CP. What to say? He is a great player! As ambassadors, we have got Mr. Bop in Mexico and Shave1 in Ukraine and as helper.

After two years playing this game I have come to the conclusion ambassadors do not live up to people’s expectations. Why? Well, in big countries they might be of importance and only if they are active. The problem here in Ireland is that we are small community and the MoFA and its team can easily work without their need.

I will not eliminate the ambassador system this month. It is true being ambassador gives you the opportunity of getting contacts, etc (again, if you are active). However, if I have the chance of being MoFA again ambassadors will be replaced as helpers in the Foreign Affairs team: I will personally teach them and answer their questions. I strongly believe players will be like this more useful, and they will be able to do exactly the same (or even more):

Venezuela

This month we have been making relations closer with Venezuela: they are a great country! Moreover, they share e-historical bonds with our extraordinary ally, Mexico.

I invited them some time ago -unofficially- to Aurora, and there are 99% possibilities they will be joining quite soon as trial member. Ireland has been working a lot in order to achieve that: we believe Venezuela would be a great input for our alliance.

Their government is quite pleased and grateful to us: they know they can count on us every time they need!

Cuba

We have been making relations closer with Cuba too. We have been talking with their representatives and we reached to the conclusion they are great! Cuba has been one of the just added countries to the game.

We wish them best of luck!

We cannot forget mentioning we renewed our NAP with Canada and we signed MPPs with the following countries: Indonesia, Italy (Aurora’s trial member), Mexico and Bulgaria.
