[MEK] New Regiment Announcement

Today MEK leadership would like to announce something new for the MU.

As most people know, MEK has always been an international MU, with players and interests that span the entire e-globe, and in an attempt to build on this, and give our many foreign players greater autonomy, we are establishing a regiment within our MU dedicated to our American members, the concept behind this new regiment to heighten MEK’s effectiveness in American time-zones.


Our American playerbase has always been a huge component of MEK and continues to contribute week-in/week-out in making us one of the top MUs in the e-world. So, we are now dedicating an entire regiment to them. This regiment will be called AMERICA, eligibility will be based on each MEK member’s RL country of origin, with eligibility sometimes extended to include members who play ingame as a citizen of one of the e-countries of the Americas, this could be Canada or Uruguay or anywhere in between.





How it will operate:

▶ The AMERICA regiment will have its own captain who will have complete oversight over the DO (important in European night-time hours), which will give the AMERICA regiment and it’s soldiers greater independence to fight and collect their DO in significant campaigns;

▶ The AMERICA regiment will be encouraged to grow their regiment with players from a RL background in the Americas.


With the establishment of the AMERICA regiment catering exclusively for our American playerbase, we’re also creating a regiment for our European.





This regiment will be titled EUROPA and, like the AMERICA regiment, will be geared toward increasing the effectiveness of MEK members who live in European time-zones.

In order to better help MEK leadership organise the new regiments, we'd ask all current MEK members to kindly fill in the form stickied in the MU comments feed, so that everyone finds themselves in the regiment that best works to the benefit of their home nation.

Failure to fill in the form will mean you will be allocated to one of the basic regiments.
