[Lake4PP] Always Forward

Day 3,003, 19:23 Published in USA USA by J.A. Lake

Little else can be said for the socialists if not that they are dogged, determined individuals. Following our participation in the December 6 Revolt, many of our comrades were prosecuted for it, and most still remain ostracized. Still, we persevered to become a major influence in the Federal Government this month.

I credit both the fighting spirit of the Party and the membership for this, as well as the leadership of outgoing Chairman Illiguy.

In the spirit of our political success in the months following the December 6 Revolt, I officially announce my candidacy for Chairman of the SFP Revolutionary Committee.

Similarly, I would like to announce my Deputy Chairman: Tom Cauchon.

I have two primary policy pieces I hope to tend to in the February-March term.

The Revolutionary Committee hard at work in the business of improving the SFP.

1) Rewrite the Party Program.

Activity across the game is low, and no one can blame Chairman Illiguy for putting off the update of the Program. However, I want to see it done by March 15. Among the first things I do as Chairman will be convening a second Committee of Correspondence to begin this work.

2) Reinvigorate Recruiting and Retention Efforts.

The winter saw an undeniable downturn in our numbers. At our peak we were a close contender to unseating the USWP, and now we are in a near tie for the bottom spot in the Top 5. This trend must be reversed. The Revolutionary Committee will be directed to investigate any means to recruit and retain new members to the Party.

So it is with great joy I ask for your votes next week. Together we will push our glorious Party to new heights of activity and of political achievement. Those who wish to volunteer to be a part of this new push, speak now! Room will be found for you.

As always, thanks for reading my friends.
