Way to make false claims about me, I chose to no longer run myself because of time balance issues and demnl supported me through the decisions, really don't make it sound like demnl has issues.

Than you, or your party, should have published an article. You published an official article about your candidacy, but not about your whitdrawing. 🙂 Still doesn't change my opion though.

if I had to choose someone from our playerbase it wouldn't be you. However Legendardisch is way to controversial and will not give us any form off unity. Yet I would prefer him even over Auggustus as I don't trust him at all. He was twice at the front when eNL lost large amounts off money. Especially the 2nd time I'm pretty sure he put around 1.6 mil cc in his (and likely garmr's) pockets due to the use off normal game mechanisms and the fact they convinced congress it would be wise to buy gold at a huge overrated value which I'm sure he did not actually do. Or how else would someone explain he did not record the actual transactions done. How on earth can a MoF spend 2.6 mill cc without recording it?

1) Government of NoTie, was a robbery that was later to be determend done by polish or serbian hackers. We were not the only gov to be robbed that day. To say that we stole it is just ridicculous. The people who played at the time know this for a fact.

2) The Mistake that was made was at the time was that we had alot of CC. During this period of time 1 gold was costing 2000 CC and was going up by 100 cc each week. We were litterally seeing our paper currency being devalued on a daily basis. The proposal that was made before congress and approved by congress was to exchange that CC for gold as gold in this game only has a true value. Weeks later the eRep Devs made game changes that destroyed all in game value as well as the money markets by merging all the currencies into one central currency. This effectively changed the currency values in the opposite direction to the standard rates you see today. At the time it was the correct dicision to make considering the circumstances. If we had known the changes the admins were to make then we would have NEVER made those changes. It is also fair to note that these changes destroyed my wealth as well and i had to shut down my corp and paid my invvestors above the value they were due if i had used the true valuations.

The One thing nobody does talk about or fail to even know is that I was one of the people to actually setup and helped expand the government owned companies. I invested the govs money in proper organizations and made alot of money for the gov as well as the citizens of the eNL. Together with players like luuklag we actually setup a very stable econ for the eNL. Current game mechanics however have made this very difficult to manage properly.

It never was the right decision to buy gold Auggustus. You could (and should) have bought gold at 1.000cc a piece. Buying at a rate off 2500+ would have been the act of an idiot. As you are not an idiot and belong to the group that stated on forum you became "fitlhy rich" dealing on the MM you knew the mechanisms on the MM all to well. Yet I never saw any proof you used them to let eNL benefit. Only yourself and a couple of players around you. So you knew, yet claim to have bought gold at a rate above 2500 cc for eNL? That was an instant loss off +1500 per gold bought. As you are no stupid player I also find that very hard to believe. So the suspicions eReptrader has expressed here and earlier as well seem 100% valid to me yet are hard to proof.

At the time it was the right decision. I was not the only one to say that. My organization had companies in other countries. We dealt in all different types of currencies since we needed to buy and sell currencies to pay for salaries in all our companies. I became rich in game at the time because the market was stable. When they currencies started to rise we were actually losing money. We kept our companies in the Netherlands running at a loss because we did not want to have the eNL econ collapse. So being ignorant and saying we became filthy rich on the MM is just trash talking. If i benefited from the MM and was becoming filthy rich come with your proof.

as for the MM we had such a surplus of currency that it was becoming worthless. We needed to buy gold. I believe we started buying gold at the time @ 1 gold =2K and by the time we were finished the price had risen to 1 gold = 3K. a week after we were finished the price had gone to 3500 K and two weeks after that they did the sudden econ changes that destroyed the market even further.

Its easy to criticize the decision after the fact. At the time it was a hard decision to make. At the time it was a good decision.

If I knew then what I know now, would i have done it? No.
Was it a mistake to do it at the time? No because of the game mechanics being the way they were.

Its also easy to accuse me of not buying gold @ 1000 CC, but congress at the time was having discussions about this when at that time it was at 2Kcc. If i member correctly the discussion at the time also was that we do the transfers gradually, when i insisted on urgency. If someone is to blame it was congress for being slow to act since It took almost a month of discussion to get it passed. i followed the will of the congress, something that was respected then.

Its easy to blame people. I took responsibility for my actions, but it is unfair to give me the blame, when you as a congress member is just as guilty.

You could ALWAYS have bought it at 1.000 no matter the price being asked and you know that. I will say this once for you: The money at the time was sold @ around 2000 cc, and the selling ended @ around 2900 cc. I believe that it ended up averaging at around 2300cc-2500cc. Also its in the past many years ago. get over it, shit happens. Mistakes were made by myself and congress. And you were part of congress as well. also we never bullied it through, Theres no reason for spewing hate. I have no resentment against you, but you apparently have one against me. If that is the case I apologize for whatever i might have done to you, but forgive me for not remembering what.

Yes Auggustus, I was part of congress. I was even your vMoF. But when asking questions about the proposal towards you (not within congress as it's my firm believe internal(gov) discussions shouldn't be done in congress) I was ignored and the statement was simply that it was the best to do and you knew so. As a new player back than having played perhaps 2 months I didn't know. I was still learning the basics. I never even used the MM module. You on the other hand were very experienced, one of the elite. Every question I asked was ignored or judged as unimportant by you. Hell, even the job off MoF was unimportant according to you; "You only need to record our possessions, that's it" and "If something important or smart has to be done I know what to do". I did not even blame you. After all; I was new, you were very experienced.

It was only the month after when I became MoF I could see what was possible and which impact the decision really had although it lasted a while before you finally presented congress with what transactions you did as they were not recorded. As stated elsewhere; I blame(d) you for the fact you bought at the given rate which is stupid if you even have a slight understanding of market mechanisms. That's what I warned you for as your vMoF. I never blamed you for the fact you should have bought at 1.000 at that very same time. And sold immediately after for 2.500 giving eNL an instant profit, easily reaching 1 mil+ in stead of a loss of 1,5 mil+. I didn't blame you for that because I didn't know at the time and therefore didn't point you to it as vMoF. But clearly you did know as you mentioned on forum but I don't think I ever accused you off that. But I can't deny the fact eReptrader has a solid point when he does while you keep focussing on the fact it's congress who "forced" you to buy at 2.500 as they were to slow. That only should have given you the opportunity to let eNL profit way more, yet you stuck to an old plan that was already outdated.
