[IV] Illiguy for SFP Chair

As you may have guessed by the title, I am running for Chairperson/President of the Socialist Freedom Party. The Party has done a lot for me in this game, and I would be honored to serve all of you as PP this month.

SFP has always been a big-tent party, even when we were much smaller. There's room in SFP for all sorts of leftists, anarchists, liberals, socialists, pirates, slackers, bomb-lobbers, revolutionaries and just plain old regular folks. However, we're now facing a more formal divide in our membership: those "blacklisted" members who are barred from holding national office, and those otherwise-listed (unlisted?).

This situation would seem to present us with a choice: distance ourselves completely from the establishment, or wash our hands of the revolutionary tendencies of the party and fully embrace reformism. However, I believe this is a false dichotomy. As I said before, there's room in SFP for all types.

I see us fighting on two fronts going forward. We continue to forge ahead on the conventional road, encouraging and mentoring those members who would run for congress and seek change from within. I also want to continue to stoke our revolutionary flames by reforming the Committee of Correspondence to refine and revise our Party Program.
