[ISP]More From the Imperial Sun

Day 2,135, 08:53 Published in Japan Japan by Boukun Suzaku

So last week we re-introduced ourselves to eJapan, and what we were up to. This week we shall help to define who and what the Imperial Sun Party is, and update everyone on what we're up to.

First and foremost the Imperial Sun believes in a strong and unified eJapan. Our party reflects our vision for our eCountry, with its strong central authority and well established chain of command. We follow and uphold the laws passed by The Diet(congress), and throw our full weight and effort into defending our lands. We seek to build a strong nation by building upon the foundations of solid community, economics, politics, and military. The Sun discusses all matters and happenings within our homeland internally, and once we come to a consensus we move as one in our voice and purpose. Our party supports the Emperor, when there is one, and the ideal of having an Emperor. Above all things, we are loyal to eJapan, its health and its strength.

What the Imperial Sun Party is against, is corruption, isolationism and reckless expansionism. It is our belief that eJapan should only expand its borders when absolutely necessary for the health and benefit of the whole. We seek an eCountry that is unified both in purpose and geography and strong enough to protect that from threats both foreign and domestic. In the world of eRepublik, isolation and neutrality mean death. We in ISP feel that eJapan must participate, negotiate, trade and communicate with our neighbors and allies.

Now that we've established who we are, what are we up to? Well among other things we stopped and forced ourselves to answer that question, "Who are we?" Interestingly, those among us all said roughly the same thing, even members that often quarrel with one another agreed on the basic principals outlined above. Next on our agenda was to begin a review of our charter and platform, to ensure they are up to date and in line with our principals. Kinjiro Tachibana, known for his Nihon Shinbun, also opened a proposal with the goal of finding a way to strengthen the Ministry of Security, by distributing the workload on immigration while tightening security and maintaining expediency. Lastly we have, like most of you probably, spent a lot of time discussing how to improve and grow our party.
