[ILP] The Birdboy Speaketh

Day 2,632, 07:16 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

Greetings Comrades of the ILP,

I would like to touch on a few topics in today's address:

- The ILP Site
- Citizen Recruitment
- Comrade Awards

THE ILP SITE

I'd like to encourage all members to register for our site, indielabour.guildportal.com So far, a large percent of the party's members, including most of the highest active players, have already joined. The site has polls, chat, a forum, a schedule, and other useful tools.

A more thorough party Presidential Address has been posted in our forum, and I ask all members please read. A new debate "Direct Democratic Vote on Tax Usage" has been started as well and input so far has been great. Members are also encouraged to edit their bio on the homepage.

CITIZEN RECRUITMENT

Ireland is sick, as we all know. Many players have grown bored and quit, while others continuously are driven from the community.

In the upcoming weeks, you will find instructions on how to donate to our national babyboom project. There will be a paypal open for donations (I myself intend to donate as well) which will go towards advertising our facebook page that was created by Mr. Bop.

I've tried facebook advertising in the past and with little funds spent saw little results. I have faith this time will be different and encourage all of you to put politics aside for this one important mission our nation as a whole must accomplish to survive in the long run.

Think of it as a potential catastrophic asteroid collision in the midst of a world war. We have to stop thinking small so we can work together to save our community from what seems to be an even dimmer future for us all.

If you do not trust donating, it is understandable. There are other ways you can help.

-You can like the page here: www.facebook.com/pages/eRepublik-Ireland/291151924396104?fref=nf

-You can make your own graphics for the facebook page and send them to An Slaugh to add.

-If you like to play other browser MMOs, you can join Tailteann Deithe, our national recruitment guild at tailteann.guildportal.com

There are a handful of ways you can help right now comrades so please if you have the time, energy or resources then take part. o/

COMRADE AWARDS

ALL RISE!

I would like to acknowledge 2 of our members who have been doing exceptional work in our community. Efforts often go unnoticed but it's important our members realize there are those out there paying attention that appreciate them.

Many have seen this comrade on the battlefield, week after week, reaching the top rankings for division 2 consecutively for months. With 20 true patriots already I think we all know it's only the beginning. For his valiant efforts on the battlefield, on behalf of the Labour Peoples Army, the Independent Labour Party would proudly like to issue Uncle Bulgaria the Victory of Labour! (1 gold)

The next award is the highest issued in the ILP. The following member has been in the Dail numerous times and has always stood against the foulest of the foul in our community, while managing to stay almost entirely out of the infighting which seems dominant in our community. When called upon to take part in the referendum commission to develop a system which our nation desperately needs, he took the part without hesitation. The ILP proudly issues Frank Dobbs the Order of Waffle! (1 gold)

Thanks to both of you for your efforts, which help give entertainment and joy to this game for us all. I encourage all younger members to look to these two for inspiration on how to commit yourselves to Ireland's cause. o/

MY CURRENT MISSION

For now I am still working on growing Tailteann, while finishing off the exciting and stressful PP term in the ILP. I was able to knock out my 21st True Patriot in recent campaigns as well. I also hope soon I will have the RL time to shift more towards being a writer again and addressing foreign affairs in my paper.
