Strange scenes in the Treasury this morning

Good morning gentlemen,

No doubt most of you will have already read about this year’s boxing day gift in the form of an absconding CP, along with the theft of a majority of our collected taxes. Just to make the situation that much better, our renowned institution of Congress only yesterday voted to keep him as CP. That to you and me means that we will not be able to remedy this for another 6 days. An ominous opening for 2014.

Whilst the expected retarded CP laws are going to be irritating, the main problem lies in recovering our lost finances. The eUK has been robbed a few times in the past, and unfortunately the historical chance of getting the funds back relies very much on the admin that you’re dealing with. It is no surprise given the decline of the game that we have seen a decline in their judgement as well, and they have declined to return our lost funds.

This necessarily means that we will have to ration our remaining funds to only the most essential MPPs. This will regrettably have to include the NHS which was also affected; with basic supply halted until we can find replacement private donations to cover (shoutout to Kravenn for donating a load of Q5s). We will not be able to afford the luxury of paid battle orders for a while either, and will be more reliant on our own personal self-sufficiency.

We will be working urgently with our foreign partners with the upset this has caused, along with overturning the NAP signed with Ireland and the US, with evidence showing the Irish MoD hitting against us and no answer from the Irish CP explaining such.

The new congress will be messaged as soon as the results are ready to vote on authorising Lord Farhan to run an interim government until an ingame impeachment can be proposed. You may wonder why this is necessary when only a third of the term is left, however we still need to co-ordinate with allies and effectively defend our territories even without control over the CP buttons. And during this period we will need to work together as a community more than ever.

LongShotz has resigned as he disputes not being made interim CP.

Nothing in the NAP says eIrish can't attack against the eUK. The government can't directly attack the eUK. Supporting a worthy ally against the eUK is just a lot of fun and a worthy cause.

Well, we can't attack them in the sense that we cannot NE or declare war.

We CAN defend our allies on their battlefields. No reasonable NAP dictates what allies and friends one of the nations is allowed to have.

You do realize he still has access to all your orgz and funds. A Cp can at any time request passwords from the moderators and will receive them. Yes donate more bring more in for him to steal 😛. He can still fire your entire cabinet including the current MOF and appoint a crony to steal you blind. Timing my fine gentleman he timed this perfectly knowing the game mechanics very well. This aint their first theft and probably wont be their last. If i where the MOF I would move what you have left to trusted citizens vote all your taxes to the minimum to stop further funds going to him.

Also what's this Ireland bit. I dont see our role in his thefts. Most of the time I was also surprised at his rise. But he is a very fluent article writer. ATM we are committed to the region loan and NAP with the eUk. In fact the last thing on our minds is the United Kingdom.
